Paulina Porizkova Is 'Thrilled' By A Glowing Review Of Her Book 'No Filter'

Model Paulina Porizkova is very excited to release her new book, "No Filter," which hits bookshelves this November.

She has been vocal about her recent thoughts on aging and the modeling industry in several Instagram posts, sharing bikini and even nude photographers to prove her point. In her latest post, the 57-year-old model shared a tweet from Penguin Books advertising her new literary venture.

Paulina shared a screenshot of a tweet from Penguin Books to her Instagram feed. The tweet reads “NO FILTER by @paulinaporizkov is ‘raw and candid’ and one of the new books you need to add to your fall TBR according to @newyorkpost. They attached a link to a headline reading, “These are the 28 books you’ll want to read this fall.”

“This, spotted on Twitter yesterday,” she wrote. “This may be hard to understand, but this made me more thrilled than any cover of a magazine (except for the first one) I’ve ever gotten. The cover of a magazine was at first super exciting and sort of affirming in that ‘yes-other-people-think-I’m-beautiful’ way. Ego boosting for sure!”

“But at the same time, it kept confirming to me that the only valuable part of me was the outside,” she continued. “I was a young woman of high ego and very low self-esteem. Now I know self-esteem comes from the inside. But being validated for something I’ve made with my brain and heart - is possibly the biggest thrill of my life.”

She added the hashtags #nofilter, #books, #bookstagram, and #reading before she reminded fans that they can preorder the book in their favorite bookstore. She concluded the post by writing, “And forgive me, I will keep on talking about my book for quite a while” along with the hashtag #proud.
