When Jessica was a child, she recalls auditioning for "The Mickey Mouse Club," a very popular show at the time that has produced some of Hollywood's biggest A-Listers today. Quite a bit after her first marriage to Nick Lachey was over, Jessica ended up kissing Justin Timberlake. While you are thinking, yes, he was on "The Mickey Mouse Club," he actually isn't Jessica's firs celebrity crush. It was actually Ryan Gosling. In her interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Simpson goes on to say that even though she kissed Justin Timberlake, her real crush was Ryan Gosling, and she wishes that he was the one who had won that bet the boys had made when they were just little 12 year-olds. She admitted to having a crush on Gosling because he was from Canada. At the time, she felt that that was exotic, as she couldn't pinpoint where Canada was on a map.

Jessica was very young when she met Lachey - they met at a party in 1998. The couple had quickly developed feelings for each other, even though Lachey was six years her senior. In February 2002, Lachey proposed to Simpson, and the two got married that same year in October in Texas. You might remember "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica." It was an MTV series that played out from 2003 to 2005. By 2005, the marriage had gone downhill, with everything from cheating rumors to constant fighting.

The 2005 movie featured Simpson as the ever-popular character "Daisy Duke." She starred alongside Johnny Knoxville, of "Jackass" fame. The two grew very close during filming. However, both were still in their respective marriages. She began flirting with Knoxville on set. She admits she had an "emotional affair" with Knoxville, saying, "To me, an emotional affair was worse than a physical one,” she explains. “It’s funny, I know, because I had placed such an emphasis on sex by not having it before marriage. After I actually had sex, I understood that the emotional part was what mattered. And Johnny and I had that, which seemed far more of a betrayal to my marriage than sex."

These days, Simpson is in a much better place. She is married to football player Eric Johnson, whom she married in 2014. The couple has three children together, Birdie Mae Johnson, Ace Knute Johnson, and Maxwell Drew Johnson. Since releasing her memoir, she has been touring, promoting her new book. Simpson, who has had a tumultuous relationship with her father, actually penned a beautiful dedication to him on her Instagram just a day ago. It seems like everything is looking up for Jessica and her family these days.
