This Is Why Fans Believe Adele Secretly Married Boyfriend Rich Paul

Superstar Adelejust reached EGO status; however, something else caught the attention of her fans. The artist is just a Tony award away from being EGOT after winning five categories in the 2022 Creative Arts Emmys for her concert special in November last year.

Adele and her previous husband, Simeon Konecki, finalized their divorce early last year after getting married. The duo initially met in 2011 and had their only child, Angelo James, in October 2012. Shortly after the divorce, the mother of one started dating her sports agent boyfriend, Rich Paul.

After posting her Emmy wins on her Instagram page, fans quickly spotted a box with Paul's name and speculated that the 34-year-old had finally tied the knot with her beau. Several questions filled the comment section, inquiring if the EGO winner had finally tied the knot.

Adele recently made a post to celebrate the awards she received during the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy award show and got a different type of attention. The 34-year-old posted pictures of herself holding on to her latest award on Instagram.

The awards were given to the superstar artist due to her CBS "One Night Only" special concert. The caption of the celebratory post read, "Bloody hell, I'm pleased as punch! Thank you, @mrbenwinston, for dropping this round to me this afternoon!!"

It continued, "Trust me to officially have an EGO Thank you so much @televisionacad , I'm so so honored to receive this. Big up to everyone involved. @griffithobservatory thank you for letting me sing up on your mountain, and big love to all the other nominees x."

In the third picture in the post, the "Hello" singer's new Emmy award was placed on some books on a table. Behind the books was a rectangular transparent box with a dark lid. The box had "The Paul's" written boldly on top and looked to have some tiles in them.

Adele's fans quickly picked up on the box's inscription and speculated if the EGO winner had finally married her boyfriend, Paul. Comments like "'The Paul's' MY GIRL IS MARRIED" and "not her secretly dropping the relationship status" were rampant in the post's comment section.

According to Newsweek, some other fans tried to shed more light on the picture. One wrote, "Her boyfriend's name is Rich Paul. 'The Paul's' may suggest they're already married. At the very least, the perception of marital union."

Another fan pointed out the misuse of the apostrophe in the inscription. They wrote, "Wouldn't be Paul's if they were married, it would be Pauls." Someone else wrote, "I can't tell if I am more excited about it or upset at the bad punctuation."

After separating from her previous marriage, Adele and her sports agent beau made their relationship public last year. They posted themselves on Instagram after reportedly seeing each other for some months prior. The duo moved into their Los Angeles home early this year.

The 34-year-old posted the first picture of the duo with a simple red heart love emoji caption. Since leaving her marriage last year, Adele had not been publicly linked to a lot of love interests prior to Paul.

The sports agent is the owner of Klutch Sports Group, a company that has represented several athletes in the NFL and NBA. The company was listed as the thirteenth largest sports management in 2020, with around $58.1 million in commissions and $1.7 billion in their combined contracts.

The "Easy on Me" singer just got closer to reaching EGOT status. The artist's recent Emmy win joined the rest of her Oscar and Golden Globe awards; a Tony award is the only thing left for her to be an EGOT awardee.

The production she won the Emmy for was her concert special "One Night Only" and was released in Paramount+ towards the end of last year. The show saw Adele perform several of her most popular songs in addition to three other titles that are as of yet unreleased.

The "One Night Only" concert had several big-name celebrities in attendance, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Melissa McCarthy, Bradley Cooper, Lizzo, James Corden, and Drake. The show was nominated for five Creative Arts Emmys and won all the categories. The nominated categories include outstanding variety special (pre-recorded), technical direction, directing for a variety special, sound mixing, and lighting design/direction.
