Given the birth of Michael Bublé's newest and fourth child in August, he may not remain in the entertainment industry for much longer as he considers being a full-time dad. He voiced his thoughts to Gaby Roslin on a new episode of "The Gaby Roslin Podcast," revealing the challenges he faced in maintaining a successful career and being a good spouse and dad.

The Canadian singer seems to not be "loving" his career as much as he should despite having a thriving one with multiple awards and having sold over 75 million records globally. He believed he was getting close to thinking, "maybe I can just go and be a dad," and he painted a picture of what he imagined his life as a full-time father would be.

He shared, "I have this picture in my head of just me in a field with my kids and Ed Sheeran's kids, and we're just hugging each other and picnicking and getting drunk." Bublé, who prepared to head to his world tour this month, admitted that whenever he "isn't feeling" his work, he constantly reminded himself of how fortunate he is.

And while the notion of being a full-time dad was inviting, with parts of him wanting to be one, he also believed it was a "fantasy" that few people were "brave" enough to do. He explained that he had friends who shared the same thought, although they never acted on it or "never seem to really do it." The "Call Me Irresponsible" star added:

"Very few of us are brave enough to say 'no, I just want to do this,' but I think it's a fantasy."

Talking more about his family life, he asserted that he would have been more prosperous if he had not started a family and continuously thought of what could have been. Bublé maintained that no one could successfully start a family and build a career at the same time without one of the two suffering the consequences.

He said, "It's funny if you talk to my manager, he's a beautiful guy, but he's managed a lot of big careers. He'd say flat out, 'If Bublé didn't get married and have those kids, he'd be a bigger star, easily, truthfully.'" With the release of his eleventh studio album, which has topped the UK Official Chart but is at 43 in Italy and 11 on the Dutch Album 100, the 46-year-old revealed the reason behind the lower ranks.

He explained that since he got to the UK to do "that press," he could not go to Holland or Italy as he had to choose where he would spend his time. The decision was certainly not great for Italy or the chart numbers there, and he admitted so, adding that Holland could have been better.

Bublé then recalled one of his manager's constant words to him about it not being tough to make decisions but being difficult to live with the consequences of his choices. He added that the manager also pointed out to him that if he prioritized his family above his career, it would hurt his career in those countries.

That led him to confess, "And, of course, it sucks as, of course, I'm telling you here that I'm thinking about it all the time, and I'm sitting in bed thinking, 'Oh damn.'"

The Four-Time Grammy Winner Announced Birth Of Fourth Child With Sweet Post

Last month, The Blast shared details on Bublé's fourth baby's introduction to fans. The singer and his wife of over a decade, Luisana Lopilato, welcomed the child on August 19 and shared the news on Instagram with a beautiful message.

The couple made a collaborative post comprising a snap of their hands holding the little one's small pink feet in addition to a tribute in Spanish that was also translated to English. Filled with love, the "Crazy Love" songster and his spouse used the message to announce the child's arrival, including her name, Cielo Yoli Rose Bublé, and her weight, 3.8kg.

They ended it with words of gratitude to God for the "infinite blessing" and expressed their love and that of their other three kids, Noah, Elias, and Vida. Cielo may be the last child Bublé and Lopilato have, as months before her birth, Bublé revealed so in an interview, adding that he wanted to enjoy "every second of it" with his partner.
