Lizzo has sparked a fresh wave of concern regarding her weight following a head-turning and very chocolate-themed dress she wore at Tuesday night's 2020 BRIT Awards. The "Truth Hurts" singer made a statement appearance at London's o2 arena last night, rocking up in a brown-and-white Moschino dress replicating a Hershey's chocolate bar wrapper.
Lizzo's floor-length and one-shouldered dress featured the brand's logo and a bar code, with the 31-year-old singer and rapper also accessorizing it via a glittering clutch purse resembling a Hershey's chocolate bar.

Lizzo marked her attendance at the BRIT Awards with multiple Instagram posts – a video of Lizzo jokingly placing the chocolate bar-style purse to her mouth was also included. Captions pointed towards the event and glam team responsible for the look, but they equally saw Lizzo confess her love of candy.
"The best kind of chocolate," she wrote to caption one of her posts. While this update proved immensely popular via its 700,000+ likes, concern has been manifesting over in the comments section.

Lizzo did not appear to be trolled as a result of her posts – at least by some users. Comments here seemed both genuine in nature and not delivered as jabs.
A popular comment receiving over 300 likes mentioned the "Juice" singer's medically obese BMI.
"Are you ever going to lose weight? Like just to be healthy? Not even being mean just concerned," the user wrote.
Meanwhile, a separate user was more harsh.
"She needs to stop eating," they wrote.
Fortunately, the majority of fans threw the star the thumbs-up, but the highly-upvoted comment did launch a mega debate, with over 200 users getting involved.

Those backing Lizzo came out in full force following the comment.
"Are you going to ever mind your business?" a fan replied.
Another also jumped to Lizzo's defense.
"Not everybody is the same you do realize that right? That’s scientifically impossible. People have different metabolisms and fat burns differently in different people. Don’t be ignorant ??♀️ Studies have been done on this. And MEN typically lose weight faster than women you can look it up if you’d like," they wrote.
Meanwhile, one user told Lizzo that she does not "need" chocolate.

Lizzo may have made headlines this year for a "body-shaming" storm involving "The Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels, but the singer has made fresh statements since.
A recent interview with a Brazilian outlet saw Lizzo question double standards.
“I think that women are always going to be criticized for existing in their bodies,” she said, adding that "I don’t think I’m any different than any of the other great women who’ve come before me that had to literally be politicized just to be sexual…you know what I mean? [Just to] exist," Lizzo said.
“So, what does that tell you about the oppressor? What does that tell you about men? Get it together, we don’t talk about your d—k sizes, do we? Like, ‘that’s not a conventional d—k size, it’s too small.’ We still let ya’ll asses run all over the goddamn place," she added.
