A video that surfaced on Pornhub starring adult star Ellie Eilish which appears to be shot inside of a Los Angeles Public Library, and now the police are investigating the actress and the specifics around the shooting of the film.
The video was uploaded to the adult website a few weeks back, and it appears to feature Ellie along with a male co-star committing sexual acts while the Library was open for business.
According to news reports, the movie was shot at the Ocean Park Library in Santa Monica, California during normal business hours.
In the video, both stars are seen in the library and filming themselves in various bookshelves areas and on the carpet flooring.
In a statement, the city called the video “deeply disturbing.” City officials said obscene acts in the library are illegal and that Santa Monica police are investigating.
The city has issued a statement saying they are very disturbed by the video, and that the police department is now looking into the situation. “This video is deeply disturbing,” the statement began.
It continued, “Lewd acts in the public library are a violation of library rules and against the law. Staff did not have knowledge of the incident when it took place.”
The video has since been removed from Pornhub, but clips of the movie still are being broadcast in places like Reddit.
According to CBS News, one resident is very upset telling the outlet, “That is wrong, it is completely wrong,” resident Felipe Herrador said. “It’s a public place, a library where there are children. How will the city or people allow that? It’s a public place, a library where there are children. How will the city or people allow that?”
It appears at this time, no shooting permit or permission was given to the production company to shoot the film on the premises and it could have severe consequences.
Someone who has committed lewd acts in a public place faces jail time, and possibly having to register as a sex offender. The issue with this case is the acts are committed on video.
No charges or arrests have been made in the case so far, police are investigating.
