Kelsea Ballerini is feeling her emotions very deeply!

It has been less than a week since the "Miss Me More" singer shared the news of her divorce from her husband of five years, Morgan Evans, which she described as a "deeply difficult decision." The process is difficult indeed as it seems to be taking a heavy toll on the singer, who shared a very emotional moment on Saturday.

The 28-year-old shared a video of herself alone in a bathtub on her TikTok account, listening to slow emotional music. The video showed the "Dibs" singer in a bathtub wrapping her arms around her knees; she wore only a heart-shaped necklace, with mascara and eyeliner, which was smudged around her eyes, indicating that she had been crying.

The "Peter Pan" singer tagged the video "Complex" while she sat in the bathwater lip-synching to the ballad of the same name sung by Katie Gregson-MacLeod.

Although Ballerini did not say anything in the video, the lyrics "I'm wearing his boxers / I'm being a good wife / We won't be together / But maybe the next life" allude to the feelings of heartbreak she might be going through at the moment. "I need him like watеr / He lives on a landslide / I cry in his bathroom / Hе turns off the big light. I'm being a cool girl / I'm keeping it so tight / I carry him home while / My friends have a good night," the lyrics continued.

It is not hard to fathom the thoughts that might be going through Ballerini's mind as fans recall that recently The Blast reported that the "Love Me Like You Mean It" singer announced the divorce from Evans.

The duo, who tied the knot a year after meeting during a co-hosting event in 2016, were said to be very madly in love with each other from the first moment. The young country couple got married in a "tequila-themed" wedding ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with about 100 of their family and close friends in attendance.

The "Yeah Boy" singer shared the news via her Instagram story, where she wrote that she tried to share details of her life with "Friends" realistically and authentically while shielding and protecting herself as best as possible. She added that although the news was public, she felt like her fans had to hear the news from her first.

The star continued that the decision to end her five-year marriage was very hard, and although she found it hard to find the right words, she would be grateful for the years they shared. She ended the message by asking for empathy from everyone as the decision was not easy, describing the period as a difficult time for both. According to reports, they had been trying to work on their marriage a few months before news broke of their impending separation.

The "Half Of My Hometown" Singer Tested Positive For COVID Prior To Hosting Duties

The songstress who was to host this year's CMT Music Awards was unable to do it in person after she tested positive for COVID-19. In April, The Blast reported that the "Dibs'' singer shared a video on Instagram in collaboration with CBS apologizing to her fans for her absence while explaining that although she would not be there physically, she hoped they still had a good time.

The Grammy Award nominee shared that she felt "devastated and gutted" at not being able to appear physically; she was still grateful that she was healthy enough to host away from the venue still. She continued by adding that the CMT team would bring part of the set to her house, where she would host and perform.

Ballerini disclosed that everyone was doing their best to ensure the event went on without a hitch as possible, ending the video by urging her fans to try to see the positive side of the entire situation and asking them to have a lot of fun on her behalf.

The video garnered a lot of support for the singer, as fans and colleagues flooded her page with sweet and encouraging messages, wishing her a quick recovery and admiring her strength. The artist, who received three hefty nominations for this year's award ceremony; Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the Year, and Collaborative Video of the Year, was set to host alongside famous actor Anthony Mackie.
