The actor plays a pale young man named Lee, who goes on a road trip with a random woman he meets. The duo found out they had similar difficult pasts while on their chilling odyssey, which consisted of self-exploration for both of them as well as murder.

Chalamet stunned red carpet attendees on Friday with his interesting outfit choice. The “Dune” star had on a bright red sequined backless jumpsuit during the Venice Film Festival that day. His new movie, “Bones and All,” directed by Guadagnino, premiered that day.

The actor paired the jumpsuit with a matching scarf, and famous French designer Haider Ackermann put together the overall look. Chalamet also wore dark leather, slightly heeled boots, and a pair of dark shades during the event.

Ackermann took to Instagram to display his design with several pictures of the 26-year-old captioned “SEQUINS AND ALL.” The blood-red outfit was a nod to the actor’s role in the “Bones and All” movie, where he played one of the central protagonists.

This is not Chalamet’s first time attending a red carpet event with a bold fashion choice. The “Dune” actor has been seen in several gender-neutral and sometimes feminine looks for a while now.

One such instance was when Chalamet appeared at the Oscars award ceremony earlier this year and dominated the red carpet with a custom-made black Louis Vuitton outfit. The clothing consisted of a pair of black tuxedo trousers and a sequined womenswear lace jacket with no inner shirt.

What the outfit lacked in terms of a shirt, the 26-year-old made up with jewelry. Chalamet paired the daring look with several Cartier accessories such as 18 karat white gold neck pieces as well as arm jewelry, including two bracelets and five eye-catching rings.

Chalamet’s most recent movie credit is “Bones and All,” directed by Italian filmmaker Guadagnino. The director previously featured “The Little Women” actor in his 2017 award-winning film, “Call Me By Your Name.”

The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival and reportedly garnered an 8.5-minute standing ovation. The response to the limb-gnawing film was reportedly the longest and liveliest in the event, beating out Cate Blanchett’s “Tar.”

According to the director, the moment he went through the script, he knew Chalamet was the right person for the role. Guadagnino told Deadline in an interview last year, “The second I read it, I said, I think only Timothee can play this role. He’s fantastic, a great performer, and to see him soaring the way he is doing now, I feel proud of him. And this character is something very new for him, both endearing and heartbreaking.”

“Bones and All” is based on a similarly named novel by Camille DeAngelis, with David Kajganich in charge of the script adaptation. Other actors in the movie include Mark Rylance, Chloë Sevigny, Jessica Harper, Michael Stuhlbarg, David Gordon Green, Francesca Scorsese, and André Holland. The film is slated to be released in theaters on November 23.
