Social media influencer Tanya Pardazi, 21, is being remembered by friends and family as "one of the bravest girls" after a fatal skydiving accident. On August 27, Pardazi was skydiving at Skydive Toronto when she fell to her death after opening her parachute too late. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The popular Canadian TikTok influencer has more than 95,000 followers. According to comments left by friends and followers, she will be remembered for "constantly seeking adventure and new challenges to overcome" and for being the "sweetest soul."

Skydive Toronto Released An Official Statement

Skydive Toronto in Innisfil, Ont. released their official statement on August 29 and posted it on their Facebook page. "Saturday, August 27th, at approximately 6:00 pm EDT, a skydiving student aged 21 succumbed to fatal injuries obtained from an emergency situation. The skydiver released a quickly rotating main parachute at a low altitude without the time/altitude required for the reserve parachute to inflate."

While they did not name the skydiving student's name at the time of the statement, the skydiver has since been identified as Pardazi. The statement went on to say, "The jumper was a welcomed recent addition to the skydiving community and will be missed amongst the student's new friends and fellow jumpers of Skydive Toronto Inc. The team at Skydive Toronto Inc has been profoundly affected by this accident as they have refined their student training program for over 50 years." Condolences started to pour in from many in the comment section of the social media post.

Friends Remember Pardazi As Being "One Of The Bravest Girls"

The TikTok influencer and philosophy student at the University of Toronto had just finished her solo class at the skydive facility. The accident happened during her first solo jump, according to CTV. "She really lived every second to the fullest," her friend Melody Ozgoli told CTV. "This is the biggest shock to us. It's very hard to process. It's been a couple of days, but we still don't even believe it."

Another friend, Kimia Sepanlou, called Pardazi, "one of the bravest girls." She also told CTV, "Whenever we saw her, we knew we were in for an adventure because she didn't like letting herself, or the people closest to her, get bored. Everyone who met her thought the world of her."

Loving Tributes And Words Of Condolences Fill Comment Sections On Social Media Posts

According to her friends, Pardazi was once a semi-finalist for a Miss Canada competition. She was remembered as a young woman who covered "a lot of her bucket list" at a funeral service on Friday. "What Tanya did during 21 years, I think many people fail to fulfill even in 80 or 90 years," the person delivering the eulogy at the funeral said, according to National Post. Loving tributes have since been shared on her Instagram page.
