Nicole Scherzinger And New Boyfriend Thom Evans Are Getting Serious

Nicole Scherzinger is someone who is constantly in the spotlight for her work in primarily music and television. If she's Her personal life is kept fairly private for the most part, but fans are curious as to who her boyfriend Thom Evans is.

According to The Sun, Evans, 34, is a former rugby player who was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He played on the London Wasps and Glasgow Warriors during his time as a professional athlete. But, back in 2010, he was forced to retire from the sport after suffering a serious spinal injury during one of his games.

He said in an interview with The Daily Mail, “I have watched the incident that led to my injury a few times and it did not look that bad. But it was one of these situations where I found I could not move at the time and was in a massive amount of shock.”

Shortly after the incident, The Guardian reported that Evans said the impact was “like being hit by a sniper’s bullet.”

The incident, unfortunately, ended his 6-year career at the early age of only 24.

Evans told GQ that he had to eventually seek therapy due to the fact that he was struggling to accept the fact that he would never be able to play rugby again. But, soon after he went on to follow a few of his other passions, such as singing, which eventually led him to meet Scherzinger.

We all know that one of Scherzinger’s well-known television appearances was as a judge on The X Factor. Evans actually auditioned with fellow rugby players that formed a singing group.

They called themselves Try Star, which was for a special edition of The X Factor: Celebrity. Scherzinger happened to be a judge who initially was just in awe of their performance. The band made their debut on the show in October 2019 but were eventually eliminated the following month in November.

That same month, Evans went on a British talk show called Loose Women and mentioned that he had a crush on Scherzinger. He mentioned that Scherzinger was “gorgeous”.

And it seemed like she must have gotten the message because only a month later, they were spotted spending time together in London. The couple went public with their relationship last month in January when they attended a Golden Globes after-party together.

“I honestly wasn’t expecting things to happen this way, but she’s just amazing,” Evans later told OK! Magazine.

Evans mentioned that because of schedules they are currently in a long-distance relationship, but reassured their relationship status by saying, “things are going really well”. And it seems to be getting pretty serious as Scherzinger has reportedly even introduced him to her family.

Evans stated “She lives out here so I’m splitting myself between the two places at the moment. I live in Surrey but I visit as much as I can. I came out for three weeks over Christmas. I met her family so it’s been great!”
