As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the "Cruel Summer" singer will appear in an "In Conversation With..." event on Friday, September 9, at Bell Lightbox. She will screen "All Too Well: The Short Film" on 35mm for the first time ever.
In a statement, TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey said, “We’re excited to hear Taylor’s version of how absorbing influences from cinema led to her creating All Too Well: The Short Film, which we’ll present in its original 35mm form for the first time at TIFF.”
The film, which Taylor wrote, directed, and appeared in, is based on her song of the same name and stars "Stranger Things" alum Sadie Sink and "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien.
During an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival, Taylor said, “It felt very natural to extend writing a song and visualizing it in my head to making a shot list and storyboarding it and picking who we wanted as the head of each department and who would help put all of this puzzle together.”
Although she also performed the song live at the Tribeca Film Festival, there's no word as to whether or not she'll also perform her song live at the Toronto Film Festival.

Last Sunday night, the "Delicate" became the first and only artist ever to win a third video of the year trophy. She won before in 2015 for her star-studded music video for “Bad Blood” and in 2019 for the popular track “You Need to Calm Down.”
In addition, she also became the first artist to win an award for a video that she directed herself. Her "All Too Well" short film is also eligible for the 2023 Academy Award for best live-action short, meaning that Taylor may very soon be picking up an Oscar too.
She won in the categories of Video of the Year, Best Longform Video, and Best Direction, but lost in the categories of Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

“I made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous, and give us this … I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you my new album comes out Oct. 21, and I will tell you more at midnight,” she said as she received her award.
“I’m so honored to have been recognized alongside such amazing artists and directors in this category,” she continued. “I just want to say I’m so heartened by the fact that for the first time in VMA history four of the directors nominated in the Video of the Year category are women.”
“You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made and I know with every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it weren’t for you the fans. I wouldn’t be able to re-record my albums if it weren’t for you, you emboldened me to do that.”
