On August 23rd, the influencer shared a transitional post featuring a before and after shot of her make-up routine.

In the caption of her post Mrs. Aldean had written, "I'd really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life," she wrote, including a peace emoji at the end of her statement.

Matters would soon become anything but peaceful for the influencer.

Singers Maren Morris and Cassadee Pope notably shared their thoughts about Aldean's comments shortly after.

According to Us Weekly, Pope took to Twitter and tweeted, "You'd think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging. But instead, here we are, hearing someone compare their 'tomboy phase' to someone wanting to transition. Real nice."

Pope's tweet refers to transgender members of the LQBTQIA+ community; trans individuals know their true identity does not align with the sex they were assigned at birth.

Morris also weighed in on Aldean's commentary by responding to Pope's tweet.

The "Circles Around This Town" singer tweeted "It's so easy to, like, not be a sc*mbag human. Sell your clip-in's and zip it, Insurrection Barbie."

Aldean's friends and fans soon rallied behind her including conservative commentator Candace Owens.

Owens also weighed in on Pope's Twitter thread after taking issue with Morris' comment.

She responded "It's easier not to castrate your children. But I guess whatever sells bad records."

Morris didn't leave her hanging; she responded, "Oh my god, not you. My Grammy is positively sobbing right now. Also why do y'all always go to "castration" and "pedophiles" to try and shut an argument down? It's honestly concerning and worth looking into."

How Did The Aldeans Respond To The Controversy?

The influencer, whose Instagram following greatly expanded after the controversy according to Newsweek, decided to embrace Morris' "Insurrection Barbie" moniker by incorporating it into a product for her followers to buy.

Aldean and a fellow influencer friend, Kasi Rosa Wix, both shared Instagram posts featuring the duo both wearing pull-overs with "Don't tread on our kids" written in the legendary 'Barbie' font on the front on Wednesday.

Mr. Aldean publicly supported his wife in the comment section of her original post on August 23rd, commenting, "LMAO!! I'm glad [her parents] didn't too, cause you and I wouldn't have worked out." (via Us Weekly)

What Is The Latest Development?

The transphobic undertones of his wife's social media activity lately are also affecting the country music singer's career as well.

In the latest development in the situation, Aldean has been let go by TheGreenRoom, a Nashville-based PR company. According to People, Aldean had been a client of TheGreenRoom for 17 years.

The outlet also reported TheGreenRoom's co-owner, Tyne Parrish, shared a statement announcing the company's parting with Aldean.

"Music has always been and remains TheGreenRoom's core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason..." Parrish's statement began.

As of now, neither of the Aldeans have publicly commented on TheGreenRoom's decision.
