Stacey Dash CLUELESS To DMX's Death, Sobs & Feels 'Ashamed'

In today’s issue of “Did NOT See This One Coming,” Stacey Dash is showing the world how truly clueless she can be.
The “Clueless” actress just realized that rapper DMX passed away.
It’s been over 365 days since the “Party Up (Up In Here)” rapper died of a cocaine-induced heart attack.
DMX died on April 9, 2021.

On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, Dash uploaded a video of herself sobbing while coming to the realization that DMX is dead to TikTok.
Dash prefaced the video in her caption writing, “I was strolling through #tiktok and found a #DMX song that has saved me many times. Suddenly it says #RIP i know I am late, i did not know he passed away, he #OD I am heartbroken - he was such a great guy. #devestated #staceydash #fyp #sober.”

An upset and sobbing Dash tells the camera, “Okay, y’all. I’m ashamed. I didn’t know… I didn’t know DMX died. I didn’t know from a cocaine overdose. I’m today six years and one month clean. It breaks my heart, breaks my heart that he lost to it. He lost, he lost to that demon of addiction. Please, please don’t lose.”
One fan wondered how she had absolutely ZERO clue about his passing.
Dash Blames Her Lack Of Knowledge On Not Watching The News
“What where have you been, it was everywhere that DMX passed away,” the fan commented.
Dash responded, “I didn’t know. Like I said. I. don’t watch tv or read the news. So…?”
Another gob smacked fan wrote, “How did you not know? He hada memorial at Barclay Center. His casket wasled by 100s of motorcycles, a monster truck that said ‘Love Live DMX.’”
The video did tug at some people’s heartstrings and some even related to Dash’s sobriety milestone; however, many viewers had humorous commentary to add.
“Is this the trailer for Clueless 2,” one comment read.
One person hilariously wrote, “Yep… Biggie and Pac have a reunion concert next week also Stacey!”
“GIRL. I’m just preparing for the stitches and duets tomorrow, creators you’ve been summoned,” someone responded.

Last year, The Blast reported on Dash’s addiction to pills.
In October, the actress revealed that she was battling pill addiction, and it was pretty severe over the course of several years.
The "Clueless" actress shared her truth with Dr. Oz on his daytime talk show, The Dr. Oz Show, that aired Oct. 14, 2021.
“I was taking 18-20 pills a day,” she admitted.
The doctor warned her of how dangerous that amount can be even now that she is sober.
Plus, he pointed out the obvious, “18-20 Vicodin a day, that’s expensive!”
His response prompted Dash to admit that she lost “everything” thanks to the addiction. The conservative noted that she spent “about five to ten grand” a month on Vicodin.
Dash prefaced her interview with Dr. Oz in a Facebook post on Oct. 13th describing the reveal as her “darkest secret”.
“Tomorrow, I will be sharing my deepest, darkest secret. I thank the Lord for being able to say that I have grown more over the last 5 years than I have in my entire life,” she shared. “I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who have loved and supported me through my most challenging time. Thank you all!”
