To further concumate their love for one another, the couple decided to have a special evening out on V-Day, but not just anywhere. On Friday night, Mendes took his lovely lady out to a romantic dinner at The Fat Duck restaurant in Bray, Berkshire, United Kingdom of all places. The pair not only wanted to have date-night but also a romantic vacation getaway, too! Cabello and Mendes are flaunting their love by taking expensive trips out the country and dinning at celebrity-owned restaurants. They went all out for Valentines Day.

Mendes and Cabello just started dating last summer, but in reality, they've been an item since 2015. Off Cabello's Romance album, the track Used To This is an ode to hunky boyfriend Shawn Mendes and their blossoming love affair. Cabello revealed that they had an instant connection on the set of their 2015 music video for I Know What You Did Last Summer but refused to act on their feelings, fearing that they weren't ready to be in each others lives. Cabello says repeatedly in the song that "it feels weird, but I could get used to this", hinting at their long-time friendship before suddenly becoming a couple. Isn't that how every love story begins?

The awkward transition from friends to lovers obviously didn't stop Mendes and Cabello from dating. The couple are so deeply invested in each other that even promised to strip down to their underwear if they took home a Grammy award. Additionally, Cabello brought her dad to the 62nd Awards show. At some point, dad might've given Mendes a pointed talk about dating his famous daughter. Cabello did a good job at smoothing things over with her song First Man which was a tribute to her father, letting him know that she was well taken care of by Mendes. Guess he finally got to meet dad!

If fans thought the video for the song was hot, it's sung even better on stage. Mendes and Cabello shut down all the award shows in 2019 with their beautifully sensual stage act for Senorita. Audiences everywhere waited in anticipation for the couple to deliver a kiss but never did. The song went viral and went on to receive a slew of nominations, including a Grammy nomination! Love does sell!
