Alec Baldwin is an American actor, comedian, producer, and talk show host.

He starred in the TV series 30 Rock from 2006 to 2013, which won him three Primetime Emmy Awards. He has also starred in movies such as Beetlejuice (1988), Glengarry Glen Ross (1992), The Departed (2006), and The Hunt for Red October (1990).

Alec Baldwin was born Alexander Rae Baldwin III in Amityville, New York, on April 3, 1958. He is the oldest of four brothers, all of whom are actors. Baldwin began his acting career in the early 1980s. He gained critical acclaim for his role in the 1992 film Glengarry Glen Ross. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role.

In the late 1990s, Baldwin transitioned from television to movies. He starred in the short-lived series The Larry Sanders Show (1992–1998) and then went on to star in 30 Rock, which ran for seven seasons. Alec Baldwin won three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role.

Alec Baldwin was married to Batman actress Kim Basinger from 1993 to 2002. They had one daughter together. Ireland Baldwin has pursued a career as a model.

In 2012, Alec Baldwin married yoga instructor Hilaria Baldwin. The two are still together. They welcomed their first child in 2013 and their most recent child in September 2022. Altogether, the couple has seven children. Only one was welcomed via surrogate.
