Shakira Reportedly Had An Affair With This Famous Tennis Player!

Shakira may just be a beautiful liar.

According to new reports from Spanish news outlet Marca, the Colombian-native reportedly had her own affair with a high-profile athlete.

Shakira allegedly carried on an affair with Spanish tennis player, Rafael Nadal!

However, the alleged affair happened BEFORE she was with her now ex-partner, Gerard Piqué.

This news comes after the couple of nearly 12-years called it quits due to the Barcelona defender’s infidelity.

Jordan Martin, the Spanish paparazzo who has snapped pics of Piqué and his new girlfriend Clara Chia, claims the “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress had a secret affair with Nadal prior to Piqué.

Could this news JUST now be coming out to deflect from her tax fraud court case in Spain? Possibly!

In an interview with América Noticias Martin said, “I can say that Shakira made a video clip with Alejandro Sanz, but she did not get involved with him. She got involved with someone equally or more famous.”

Martin did not outright say Nadal’s name, but dropped plenty of clues as to who the superstar lover was.

"He is a world-renowned person and a top sportsman. He's not a footballer, he's a tennis player," Martin dished.

He also dangled this very sweet treat of information for the outlet.

Martin explained the tennis player appeared in Shakira’s music video for “Gitana” in 2010.

“Gitana” is translated to “Gypsy” in English.

This is the year their affair allegedly took place.

"I say that there was something in a video clip with a top athlete in Spain, among the three best athletes in the history of the country," he continued. "That's where I leave it, I can't name names."

It just so happens that same year, Shakira met Piqué on the set of her music video for “Waka, Waka.” This song was the official song for the World Cup in South Africa.

Speaking of Piqué, the fútbol star is continuing to break his PDA pact with Shakira.

The new couple was spotted attending a wedding on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain on Saturday, August 20th.

In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the couple didn’t hold back on embracing one another and couldn’t stop touching each other.

The mother of their two children is pretty pissed off about him being so public and affectionate with Chia so soon after their breakup.

A source told The Sun, Shakira is “very angry at seeing the father of her children with his girlfriend in public.”

Shakira and Piqué reportedly made a pact in which they would not appear in public with new partners during the first year since their breakup.

Piqué’s new girlfriend has been in the picture for a while; however, it was in a professional matter… from what we know.

The Sun exclusively learned that Piqué has secretly been dating a student that works for him for the past few months.

It’s unknown whether or not this is the woman Shakira walked in on him with before their split.

Piqué and his lady love were recently spotted packing on the PDA at the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia.

A source told The Sun, “Gerard and Clara have been seeing each other for months. She is a student who also works for him in his office, organizing events.”

She reportedly works in the Public Relations department.
