In Flavin’s August 19th divorce filing against Stallone (via TMZ), the model alleged that the “Rocky” actor “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate.”

According to divorce law in Florida, the intentional dissipation allegation means that one spouse is excessively spending or incurring unnecessary debt. In her petition, Flavin requested that the court prevent Stallone from “selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of these proceedings.”

A few days after Flavin filed for the divorce, Stallone addressed rumors that they decided to split because of a dog. Several reports claimed that the couple split after Stallone bought a Rottweiler, which he named Dwight. They allegedly had a disagreement about the dog, which brought on other arguments and eventually pushed Flavin to file for divorce.

Stallone spoke to TMZ about the rumors, explaining that while he and Flavin didn’t often agree about the dog’s care, it was not the cause for their breakup. He said that many of their disagreements stemmed from their bicoastal living arrangement and his frequent traveling.

Stallone said, “We did not end the relationship on such a trivial argument. We just went in different directions. I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met.”
