MTV brought The Hills to an end a decade ago, but that does not mean that the drama has come to an end. While Lauren Conrad, or LC, left the show after season 5, it is clear that everything is not water under the bridge, especially after recent statements made by former friends and cast members from the show.
On a new episode of Very Cavallari, it appears as if Conrad's former friends still have a lot to say about the former reality star.

One of the reasons why Conrad left the show was because her relationship with Heidi Montag, former roommate and best friend, was coming to an end. Montag began a romantic relationship with now-husband Spencer Pratt to Conrad's dismay. Pratt and Conrad famously did not get along.
Conrad expressed frustration that she was constantly forced to engage with Montag and Pratt in order to be on the show. The producers were constantly trying to get them together, and Conrad was apparently ready to just move on.

In speaking about friendship, Audrina Patridge said, "Cameras and a little bit of fame, it brings people's true colors out."
On the show, Conrad and Patridge did not share a lot of bad blood. They had some roommate drama in which Patridge, who lived in a guest house in the back of Conrad and Lo Bosworth's home, felt left out by the roommates. Patridge also expressed that Conrad was not owning up to the problems she caused. Conrad also had beef with Patridge's infamous boyfriend at the time, Justin Bobby.

Kristin Cavallari, fellow Laguna Beach alumnus, took Conrad's place on the show. One thing is clear: Cavallari and Conrad were never great friends. When they appeared on Laguna Beach together, they appeared as romantic rivals. It seems clear there is no love lost between the two.
On the latest episode of Cavallari's show Very Cavallari, Patridge and Montag visit her in Nashville. While out to dinner, they mention Conrad. During the dinner, Montag says, "She turned on me. She said, 'alright, we're not friends, you're off the show."
Conrad has had her sights set on fashion since the early days of the show, and she now has her own clothing line with Kohl's. Additionally, Conrad has gotten married and started her own family. She has two children and seems very happy on social media.
Conrad has made statements in the past about her relationships with her former co-stars, but it is clear that she is focused on moving forward with her life. Everybody involved seems to have learned a lot about becoming adults on camera.
