It's been two months since "Big Bang Theory" star Johnny Galecki and his girlfriend Alaina Meyer welcomed their first child together, and now the new mom is opening up about the wonders of breastfeeding.
Meyer shared a new photo of herself breastfeeding her baby on Instagram.
"I am grateful for my body that creates the best nourishment for my son," she wrote. "I know breast feeding isn’t something that comes easy for everyone so whatever path you and your child may be on is equally badass and amazing. The woman’s body is so phenomenal, I am still in awe of all of its wonders and I feel so lucky to be a woman, and a mother. We [heart] boobies tehe."
Fans filled the comments with their thoughts.
"I’m grateful that my boobies fed my children until I lost one to breast cancer. Well done, mama bear," one person said, to which Meyer responded, "You are a beautiful warrior."
"You’re so lucky you’re able to breastfeed without any problems, truly!! I had a horrible time," another added.
"I wish I could have breastfed mine longer, but i loved the bonding experience either way. Such a magical time, imo," someone said.
"It’s so true, breastfed all 5 of my kids for at least the first year ... some a little longer! Kudos to you badass momma," wrote a fan.
"Thank you for showing empathy to those women who can not or for the women who choose not to. We are so lucky to be women regardless. Congratulations," a commenter added.

Meyer has shared several posts about he realities of motherhood since giving birth in December.
In one post she wrote, "Got pooped on in the bath, soaked in breast milk, somehow managed to knock a plant off the counter and get soil everywhere on white carpet and clean it all one handed with a rockstar baby in my arms. Somehow this was the highlight of my night last night because I had a beautiful boy smiling up at me. And today, I became an Auntie. Life's good (this photo was taken pre poop bath)."
The couple announced their pregnancy to PEOPLE Magazine in May of last year.
"We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world," the couple confirmed in a statement.
"We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours," Galecki and Meyer added.
