Singer Taylor Swift is making her fans' "Wildest Dreams" come true by showing up at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
The "Red" singer walked the red carpet at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, where her 2021 “All Too Well: The Short Film,” was nominated for five awards.

The "I Bet You Think About Me" singer, 32, turned heads as she walked the red carpet in a glittering Oscar de la Renta dress that consisted of thousands of delicate jewels all sewn together to make her sparkling ensemble.
The Hollywood Reporter got the inside scoop on her look, reporting that the crystals were embroidered over a tulle minidress from the Resort 2023 collection by Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia for Oscar de la Renta.
The "Mirrorball" singer accessorized her look with diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and topped off her look with Christian Louboutin’s Bombina Pampilla sandals in silver leather with crystal embellishments.
Although Taylor has been absent from past ceremonies in recent years, her "All Too Well" short film was nominated for Video of the Year, Best Longform Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, and Best Editing. The fifteen-minute film stars “Stranger Things” actress Sadie Sink and "Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien, who was also seen walking the red carpet.

During her speech, Taylor thanked her fans for the fan-voted award by giving them a new album. “I made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous, and give us this … I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you my new album comes out Oct. 21, and I will tell you more at midnight,” she said.
“I’m so honored to have been recognized alongside such amazing artists and directors in this category,” she said after receiving her award. “I just want to say I’m so heartened by the fact that for the first time in VMA history four of the directors nominated in the Video of the Year category are women.”
“You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made and I know with every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it weren’t for you the fans. I wouldn’t be able to re-record my albums if it weren’t for you, you emboldened me to do that.”
