Jennifer Flavin Shares First Message Since Split From Sylvester Stallone

Former model, Jennifer Flavin, isn't letting her separation from Sylvester Stallone stop her from doing her mummy duties.

Three days ago, the actress had publicly announced that she had started divorce proceedings against the "Creed" star after 25 years of marriage. The pair met in 1988 and got married in 1997, sharing three kids, Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20, over the course of their marriage.

Since announcing her split from Stallone, Flavin has been quiet on social media, previously requesting privacy for the family while they deal with the dissolution of the marriage. However, she recently returned to social media to pen an emotional tribute to Sophie, who marked her 26th birthday milestone.

Flavin took to Instagram to mark her eldest daughter's birthday just 72 hours after the news of her divorce from Stallone broke. The model, 54, shared an emotional message to celebrate the 6-year-old, along with some adorable photos of her from the past.

In one of the photos, Sophie wore a light brown bikini-style top with a long flowing skirt of the same color and material. Another was from a party she attended with friends while dressed in a sky-blue gown and carrying a black handbag over her shoulder. A third photo was a throwback to her childhood, in which she smiled for the camera as Flavin held her.

"Happy Birthday beautiful Sophia. You bring so much love and happiness to everyone you know!" Flavin captioned the post. "Besides being a Beautiful person, you are hard-working, smart, and most of all compassionate. I am the luckiest mom in the world to call you my daughter! Love you!."

Like Flavin, Stallone also posted pictures of his daughter on his social media page. Although it might not have been a competition between him and her, Stallone did post more photos than his estranged wife to mark Sophie's birthday milestone.

The pictures included several photos of him hanging out with her, a childhood photo, a graduation pic, and some cozy photos with the family.

"A VERY HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MY VERY SPECIAL DAUGHTER, SOPHIA!!!" he captioned the post.

From the look of things, Stallone and Flavin are showing that their separation will not hamper their relationship with the children, who are typically the ones who suffer the most. Apart from Sophie, Stallone and Flavin also share two other daughters, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20. The pair met in 1988 and got married in 1997.

The Blast reported on Flavin and Stallone's shocking breakup a day after the actor was spotted getting a tattoo on his shoulder re-fixed.

News of the "Rocky" star and Flavin's separation was confirmed publicly after the Serious Skin Care co-owner shared a statement with People that she had started divorce proceedings to end her marriage to Stallone.

"I'm sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage, I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone," the actress said in the announcement she made on Wednesday.

She continued, "While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters."

At the time, the actress requested privacy for both parties to deal with the dissolution of the marriage, which is sometimes a tasking process due to the complexities involved in the division of assets acquired throughout the union.

Following the news of his divorce, Stallone carried on with his acting schedule without breaking a sweat. On Thursday, the actor attended a New York City screening for his Amazon Prime film, "Samaritan," and later took to Instagram to inform fans to check out the new movie.

In "Samaritan," Stallone portrayed multiple characters, Nemesis, Samaritan, and Joe Smith, as required by the film's script. Also starring in the movie were "Euphoria's" Javon Walton, "Game Of Thrones" Pilou Asbæk, and Dascha Polanco from "Orange Is The New Black" among others.

Stallone is also poised to star in a reality series centered on his family despite his separation from Flavin. While no further details regarding the impending docuseries have been announced, many fans assume that it will chronicle his divorce from Flavin when it premieres on Paramount+ at a later date.
