Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston Dish Over Dating the Same Man

Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston are closer than you might think.

Bullock spoke to Aniston for Interview magazine this week, when they talked about how they dated the same guy, though they discussed much more than that.

The story was titled "The One Where Jennifer Aniston Gets Grilled By Sandra Bullock."

The two start off with some friendly greetings (Aniston: Hi, mama); (Bullock: Hi, sweetheart. Are you in your jammies?), then talked about fashion before reminiscing about the same guy that they dated.

"We were introduced by our former boyfriend. I say 'our' because you and I both partook of this one human being," Bullock told Aniston during the interview.

Aniston was not taken aback. "Yes, we did. That’s a beautiful way of saying it."

Bullock also added that Donovan "was a very patient human being, given that he dated us both,” while Aniston agreed, saying “he seems to have a type.”

Aniston and Bullock were talking about Tate Donovan.

Bullock spoke to Vanity Fair back in 1995 about dating Donovan.

“I adored Tate so much. It’s like they say, there’s one person in your life, and Tate and I are closer than any two people I’ve ever experienced in my life. There’s nobody that means more to me, and I know for a fact that I mean the most to him, in that certain way. I can’t explain why things worked out the way they did. We both know why it happened.”

Bullock talked about Donovan further with Barbara Walters in 1996, telling her, “Everybody has one that is apart from all the rest… He brought out everything in me that was good, that was bad, that was suppressed."

Aniston has also shared her thoughts about dating Donovan, and had only good things to say.

"He’s so real, so honest, so kind and considerate. He’s all these things meshed into one perfect guy.”

Donovan appeared in "Friends" as Joshua, who Aniston's character, Rachel, chases after and eventually gets, though briefly. But that came after the two dated in real life.

“Literally, our second date, there were video cameras everywhere, and I was like, ‘I’m out of here,'” Donovan recalled.

Still, they got back together anyway.

Donovan appeared in six episodes of "Friends" during the fourth season of the popular show.

“I was just happy to be on the team. The only bummer was Jennifer and I were breaking up at the time,” he told Us magazine.

“And so that was tricky to sort of act, and act like we are just meeting each other, and falling in love, or whatever, interested in each other, when we’re sort of breaking up. That was just tough," he said.

Regardless of the pain all three went through while dating, Aniston and Bullock clearly share more in common than getting involved with Donovan.
