Malika Haqq Says Khloé Kardashian's 'Glory Times' Were Destroyed By Ex Tristan Thompson's Cheating Scandals

"Famously Single" alum Malika Haqq Recently talked about her best friend, Khloé Kardashian, and how strong the reality star was during her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal.

Kardashian and Thompson dated for five years and had two children before they finally broke up in June 2021. The second child, a boy, was conceived via surrogacy before Thompson's tryst with Maralee Nichols was made public.

The ensuing months saw Nichols take Thompson to court for child support after their child was born. The former professional NBA player carried out a paternity test which confirmed that he was the father, and then apologized to Kardashian for cheating online.

Haqq appeared in an episode of Stitcher's podcast, "Reality With the King," (via Us Weekly) on August 24 and commended Kardashian for continuously keeping her head up as a mother of two while dealing with Thomason's continuous infidelity issues.

According to the 39-year-old, the issues "stripped" away some periods of glory for the reality star and were particularly hard during her early times with her new baby. Haqq said, "I think she's doing about as well as you could expect for someone in her circumstances."

She continued, "She's not the first woman to ever endure adversity in a relationship … but there are some glory times that are meant to just be glory times that have been stripped from her, and that's really sad."

Further on in the interview, the former "Hollywood Divas" star revealed that she thought Kardashian was one of the strongest people she knew, and she had a great deal of faith "She really is one of the strongest people I know because she's got a good head on her shoulders. Faith is something else, and she's got a great deal of it. I'll tell you that much."

According to Haqq, watching from the sidelines was not an easy feat for her; however, she understood that family came first. She praised Kardashian for keeping her children out of the drama and ensuring they took precedence.

"We have these kids now … and their fathers are very intricate portions of their lives, and they're good fathers," the 39-year-old continued. "What happens with the moms and the spouses — we can all sit here and say some s–t should never happen, but it does, and I think that's when you have to remind yourself of who the priority is, and it's these babies."

Kardashian and Thompson previously dated on and off for five years. They first met in 2016, and by June 2021, they reportedly split up for good. They share a daughter, four-year-old True, and, most recently, a son through surrogacy.

As reported by The Blast, the reality star shocked fans when it was announced that she had another child with Thompson, reportedly conceived in November last year. The duo remained apart after the new baby and have not interacted with each other outside co-parenting matters.

For the past few years, the "Revenge Body" star spoke about her intention to expand her family and previously considered IVF in order to conceive a child. She, however, opted for surrogacy because her doctor revealed that she had a high risk of miscarrying the pregnancy if the IVF were to proceed.

While Kardashian recently welcomed a child with Thompson, she was reportedly not aware of his affair at the time, which resulted in a child with another woman. A source revealed at the time, "The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December."

The mother, Nichols, claimed that she met Thompson at a party, and their relationship progressed. The affair reportedly occurred in March 2021, when he and Kardashian were still together.

Nichols gave birth to her son, Theo, in December and took the former NBA star to court for child support. Thompson confirmed via a paternity test that the child was his and yielded to the court order to pay child support. He also took to social media at the start of 2022 to publicly apologize to Kardashian for cheating on her.
