Some fans believed that Reeves was at Northamptonshire because of the four-part Disney+ project. According to Variety, the "John Wick" star will be hosting the still-untitled docuseries, which focuses on Ross Brawn, the Formula 1 managing director.

The star reportedly arranged interviews with popular names like Ruben Barrichello, Jenson Button, and ex-Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo. Whether or not the series was the reason he was at the hotel, he definitely didn't plan to crash a wedding. However, this wasn't the first time he's done it.

The photo was later posted on Twitter by the groom's kilt maker, who captioned it "Best #Wedding Picture EVER! Moray & Maura recently got hitched in New York and were #photobombed by a rather scruffy chap passing by. We think Moray looks way better than #KeanuReeves in his stylish @slanjkilts."

Per BBC News, Reeves also surprised fans by turning up at a local pub in Charwelton for "a few whiskies" and dinner. The Fox and Hounds Landlord Danny Ricks recounted being shocked when the actor casually entered and sat at a table of six people. He then ordered a vegetarian Caesar salad, falafel, and some whisky.

Ricks recalled: "It was bizarre. I had to do a double take when he walked in as I couldn't quite believe my eyes. I thought 'guy looks quite a lot like Keanu Reeves.'" He also heard him discuss films and scripts with the customers at his table, and they all loved him.
