Singer Jonathan Knight is officially married!
The 53-year-old first gained critical acclaim in the nineties as a member of the American boy band New Kids on the Block, which included Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, and his younger brother Jordan.
Knight's sexuality became known over two decades ago when he was outed by an ex-boyfriend. He has since been in a relationship with Harley Rodriguez and got engaged to him while they vacationed in Africa in 2016.
Most recently, Knight let slip that he had gotten married to his partner during a recent interview for his farmhouse remodeling show "Farmhouse Fixer."

In an interview with ET's Lauren Zima to promote his reality series, "Farmhouse Fixer," the New Kids on the Block band member revealed that he had secretly tied the knot with his long-term boyfriend, Haley Rodriguez.
The discussion initially focused on the farmhouses the singer was repairing, which would be featured in the upcoming sequel of the reality show. But when Knight referred to Rodriguez as his "husband" as he talked about remodeling their own farmhouse, Zima quickly questioned Knight's marital status.
Knight tried to evade the questions at first, saying, "we may or we may not have [gotten married,]" while he laughed cheerily. Zima further inquired about the ring on his finger, which ultimately made the singer reveal that he had finally walked down the aisle with Rodriguez.
Knight began his romantic affair with Rodriguez in 2008 and made their romance public when they participated in the reality competition series "The Amazing Race" in 2015, where they finished in the 9th position.
The Pair Got Engaged Near The Zambezi River
In a previous interview on "The Jenny McCarthy Show," Knight revealed why it took them a while to get engaged. He shared that they both seemed to have been waiting for who would pop the question among themselves before he decided to do so while they vacationed in Africa in 2016.
"We were in Africa, our parents were there — our moms were there — and I just figured this was the time to pop the question and make it official," Knight shared about the moment he asked Rodriguez to marry him, per Page Six.
"We were on the Zambezi River — it's right above Victoria Falls," he continued. "We took a nighttime raft dinner, just the four of us on the river, there was like a hippopotamus in the background. It was a super moon. It was just absolutely beautiful, it was so romantic."
It Took A While To Get His Show On Air
Elsewhere in the interview with ET, Knight talked about signing up with HGTV to produce his "Farmhouse Fixer" show. While he revealed that starring in his own series was exciting, he admitted that it took a while for things to pan out with the showrunners.
"I've been trying to get a show on TV for so many years, and actually, HGTV told me we're not gonna do the celebrity thing, and I was like, 'Oh.' And then a few years later, things change, and they're like, 'Yes, this is perfect,' so it's been great," he said.
"It's such a passion of mine, fixing up houses," he added. "I would post on Instagram pictures of projects I did, and fans would always ask me, 'What is your other job besides the New Kids?' and I just think it's so great to be able to showcase what I do, and people can watch."
Jonathan Knight Would Rather Fix Houses Than Perform Live

When asked to choose between performing live on stage and the moment when he shows a farmhouse he had renovated, Knight said that, although the choice was difficult, he would prefer the latter.
He reminisced about the years of going onto the stage to delight the crowd and the intense adrenaline rush that came with it. But he admitted that witnessing the farmhouse owners enter their newly renovated home brought about more intense emotions, noting that he frequently cries during such moments.
In the show's latest season, Knight would be renovating eight houses, including some of his own properties. The reality series returned to the small screen on August 24 and will be broadcast on HGTV every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
Knight continues to tour with the New Kids On The Block despite being extremely busy with Farmhouse Fixer. Additionally, he plans to have a formal wedding celebration because Covid-19 limitations prevented him from holding one previously.
