Some fans were surprised when Kardashian announced her relationship with Davidson earlier this year. They believed the "The Kardashians" star and the former "SNL" cast member weren't the best fit for each other. However, it didn't shock others as Davidson was popular for dating high-profile celebs before her.

In 2018, he dated and got engaged to popular singer Ariana Grande. He also dated actress and model Margaret Qualley in 2019 and "Bridgerton" star Phoebe Dynevor in 2021. When asked how he dated several famous people, a source revealed to US Weekly that women were very attracted to the comedian's personality.

They said, "Pete's a charming guy with bags of confidence and humor, plus he's also super intelligent and a great listener. It's not all that surprising to the folks who know him that he's such a hit with the ladies." While Davidson has a way with women, there's something else he wants more than anything in the world.

Davidson first opened up about his dream of having a child in July 2018. In an episode of "Heart to Hart" with Kevin Hart, he revealed that his "favorite thing ever" that he had yet to achieve was having a kid. "That's like my dream," he said.

A year later, Davidson revealed why he wanted a child so badly. He admitted that it would give him a sense of purpose and a reason to stick around. "I would love to be a dad, 'cause I feel like it's the one [thing] that would keep me here," he told Paper in December 2019.

He opened up further by saying it would help him with his mental health struggles. Davidson said, "Everybody that I talk to that's had a kid and who used to be depressed says it just alters this part of your brain."

The "Suicide Squad" star has been open about his mental health issues and his Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) diagnosis. He also admitted in 2018 that his struggle worsened following the breakup with Grande.

On Instagram at the time, he wrote (as per US Weekly), "I've been getting bullied online and in public by people for 9 months. I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth."

He continued with a word of encouragement to fans in his shoes: "I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't."
