Actress Alexa Nikolas who starred in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 with Jamie Lynn Spears staged a protest outside of the studio’s headquarters this week alleging that like several others, she suffered “abuse” by execs.
Alexa Nikolas Claims She 'Wasn’t Safe'
The 30-year-old had a lot to say to TMZ cameras that were there. One of the things she said was she “didn’t feel safe” during her time on the popular show. The 15-minute video features the actress and several others with signs that read, “Nickelodeon didn’t protect me”, “Sickelodeon”, and “eat predators”.
As she walked past the other signs she read them out loud and some featured questions. The first question to appear was “how man NDAs?" Nikolas wants the company to be transparent about how they are shutting up their talent and others. The company is notorious for having people working with them sign tight NDAs allegedly.

“Is Nick a predator?” Asked another sign. Then we come up to a small child holding a sign that says “protect children, not predators” Nikolas took that opportunity to share that as a child “I did not feel protected at Nickelodeon as a child, personally”
Alexa Nickolas Threatened to Reveal The Predators
As she goes down the line, the signs get more invasive and ask more hard-hitting questions like, “how many predators?” She acknowledged that it was a hard question but demanded that it be answered because surely can name a few.

She even had signs that read words like “predator” covered in Nick's signature slime logo. Followed up by photos of execs she considered predators. Dan Schneider was first up, she dubbed him the “creator of childhood trauma”.
“I did not feel safe around Dan Schneider while I was working at Nickelodeon,” she points out noting that he added to her personal childhood trauma and every time he would come on set, her “body would get extremely tense” he also made her cry on set.
Schneider’s Bakery… What A Creepy name
Does anyone else find it alarming that a man has named his production company geared towards children as a “bakery” Nikolas shared that she has concerned about what is happening behind the scenes of the production company that was founded in 2003.
Over the years, they have worked on numerous Nickelodeon shows, especially the most popular ones iCarly, All That,Drake & Josh, and Victorious, the list can keep going, by the way, we are cutting it there.
The actress claimed that when she tried to investigate herself she was blocked and assumed it was just another one of those pesky NDAs she signed back in the day. That being said she is calling out, on video, for someone with the power to investigate.

Alexa Nikolas Ups The Creep Factor
The next poster feature a picture of five males in different positions of power who all used to work at Nickelodeon and all have been convicted or accused of some form of sexual misconduct ON NICKELODEON SETS.
The five pictures were of Ezel Channel, a production assistant in animation, Brian Peck, a friend of Schneider and a dialogue coach, Marty Weiss, child talent manager, Jason Handy, another production assistant, and John Kricfaulsi, creator of Ren and Stimpy.
Nickolas also named a few enablers like Sharon Lieblein, VP of talent who allegedly berated Nikolas and told her to “suck it up” after execs made her cry. She also kindly reminded her that “it's not Nicole 101 it’s Zoey 101”
She also threw up a slime picture of Cyma Zarghami, the CEO of Nickelodeon who allegedly did nothing about the allegations brought to her attention. She also called out the CEO during her time on the show Herb Scannell. She even called out former child star, turned director Fred Savage.

Is Another #MeToo On The Rise?
Nikolas has not been the only one speaking up about the predatory background of some of these huge production companies. Recently Jennette McCurdy shared that she was preyed upon from several angles.

She details the trauma in her book, “I’m Glad My Mom Died” and has been ruffling the feathers of many execs by talking about her experiences openly on her podcast and other platforms.
Now it’s a matter of seeing who pops up next.
