Singer Ne-Yo’s estranged wife Crystal Smith is speaking for the first time since news of their alleged breakup.
Baller Alert spoke to Crystal who said, ”the accuracy is that he’s an amazing father and our kids are blessed to have a father like him. I wouldn’t take that back for anything in this world. Everything else is God’s will.”
The cryptic answer comes amid talk Ne-Yo and Crystal have been broken up for months. The Jasmine Brand spoke to a source who claimed Crystal is set to file for divorce.
The outlet said the two have been having issues for quite some time. A source told the outlet, “Crystal left him. She’s had enough.” The same source said Crystal will be making the split official and filing for divorce very soon. The two were married in 2016 and share two kids Shaffer Smith Jr (born 2016) and Roman Alexander-Raj Smith (2018).
Over the weekend, Crystal trolled her estranged husband on Instagram live, Ne-Yo recently released a song which featured lyrics talking about turning his wedding ring into a pinky ring. On her IG live, Crystal was hanging with a male friend who made sure to show the camera his pinky ring.
Crystal posted a message about love on Instagram, “I hope you never settle. I hope you hold to your standards in your dreams, relationships, respect. You deserve what you want and what you’ve been working towards.”
The couple showed no signs of trouble before the bombshell split. On New Year’s Eve,
Ne-Yo wrote, “Headed into the new year wit a RIDER. 2019 had its bumps and bruises, yea sure. But it’s not about the difficulty, it’s about ones ability to realize when something is worth fighting for and ones willingness to push thru to the potential greatness of a situation.
