Is Gigi Hadid Giving Ex-Boyfriend Zayn Malik Another Chance?

Supermodel Gigi Hadid and former One Direction band member Zayn Malik are two of the hottest celebrities walking the red carpet. So, it's no surprise that these two heartthrobs would couple up. Hadid and Malik first started dating in 2016 and have been on-again-off-again ever since. After being mostly off since early 2019, however, relationship rumors have started to circulate once again. Not only have the pair been spotted together in the new decade, but Hadid also recently posted a very revealing photo on Instagram that has fans and news outlets across the board insisting that Zigi--as the relationship has been dubbed--is officially back on.

Gigi Hadid rose to international superstardom as a Victoria's Secret model, while Zayn Malik is best known for being a former member of the hit boyband One Direction. Although they had been rumored to have started dating in 2015, the couple did not officially announce their relationship until 2016. Malik had previously been engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, but he never got married to her.

Throughout the years, Hadid and Malik's tumultuous relationship has involved couple's vacations, engagement rumors, and several breakups. But it seems as though the former 1D member just has that "One Thing" that keeps Hadid coming back to him.

Most recently, the two parted ways in January of 2019. In August of that same year, Gigi started dating Bachelorette runner-up Tyler Cameron. But that relationship did not last long, and the supermodel and reality star ended things on good terms in October 2019. Only one month later, E! News reported that Hadid had started talking to Malik again, sparking hope in the hearts of Zigi shippers everywhere. Those hopes were soon heightened when, in December, Hadid took to Instagram to document the process of making a recipe she had learned from Malik's mother, Trisha.

Since the New Year, all signs have been pointing to Hadid and Malik rekindling their relationship. In January 2020, the couple was photographed linking arms as they celebrated Malik's 27th birthday alongside Dua Lipa in New York City.

If that isn't enough to convince you, the Victoria's Secret model has now posted substantial evidence revealing that she and Malik have likely reignited the flame. This week, Hadid took to her Instagram story to post a picture of her bedside table, featuring a romantic polaroid photograph of her and Malik. The image is labeled "bedside" with a heart emoji and a smiley emoji.

There's still no official confirmation of the relationship from either party, but we think it's safe to say that Hadid probably wouldn't be posting such a suggestive image if she weren't romantically involved with Malik once again. After all, it would be kind of strange to keep such an intimate photo of an ex on your bedside table. Additionally, US Weekly recently reported insider confirmation that the two are rebuilding their relationship. While many fans are excited about this news, one has to wonder whether Zigi will last this time or whether Hadid's post is just short-lived "Pillowtalk."
