Jennifer Lopez Was Decked Out In Expensive Jewelry Worth Over $2 Million For Her Second Wedding To Ben Affleck

Grammy award winner Jennifer Lopez flaunted her expensive jewelry collection at her wedding to Ben Affleck.

The pair, nicknamed by the media as "Bennifer," tied the knot last weekend at the "Batman" actor's estate in Georgia. They had initially eloped in Florida but decided to have a proper wedding with their family and friends.

While the wedding had several high-profile details that showed off the couple's wealth, Lopez's designer clothing and jewelry were the day's true highlight. Per reports, the actress cum singer glammed up for the occasion with over $2 million worth of diamond jewels and pearls.

Lopez recently had the second wedding of a lifetime to her partner Affleck. The actress, who is known for being a style icon, took things up a notch at her wedding ceremony hosted at Affleck's 87-acre compound on Hampton Island Preserve, Georgia.

According to People, Lopez sported three different glamourous looks at the wedding and matched them with jewelry that was worth over 2 million dollars. The collection was purchased from highly revered jewelers who mostly catered to high-net-worth individuals.

At the main ceremony, Lopez wore a pair of $53,000 Mikimoto South Sea cultured pearl and diamond earrings. She accessorized the bling with a $39,000 pearl and diamond flower ring from the brand. Also of note was her Ralph Lauren wedding gown, which had 1,000 handkerchiefs sewn into it for its ruffle skirt.

Due to its intricate design, the attire took a long time to create. It also featured a feathered turtleneck, flutter sleeves, and an open-back cutout. Lopez completed the outfit with a cathedral-length veil.

Lopez's outfit for the reception featured another Ralph Lauren gown, which was designed with tiny pleats of silk tulle, pearl ornaments, and Swarovski crystal designs. Just like her previous look, the reception gown needed the effort of multiple designers, who reportedly spent 700 hours on it to bring it to life.

To match the look, Lopez changed from the first set of earrings to a pair of Mikimoto pearl-and-diamond studs worth $85,000, which complemented the gown's pearl design making the actress look radiant from head to toe.

Lopez's third look was the most expensive of the bunch. It included a customized 27-carat cluster of pear-shaped diamond earrings from Samer Halimeh valued at $2 million. The mother of two matched the jewelry with a third custom Ralph Lauren attire that featured a neckline adorned with Swarovski crystals, a stylish mermaid silhouette, and a detachable hood.

Lopez and Affleck first dated in July 2002 and became engaged in November of that same year. Due to the public attention surrounding their relationship back then, they ultimately postponed their September 2003 wedding and then broke up.

By chance, they resumed their romance in 2021, about two decades later. Then, in April 2022, Affleck popped the question to Lopez with a stunning green diamond ring that had a special meaning for her.

For those speculating why the wedding was held on Affleck's estate instead of a different high profiled location, a source told People that the property had a symbolic meaning for the couple, hence why it was chosen as the wedding's location.

"Ben bought the property 20 years ago when they were engaged the first time around," the source said. "They have a special connection there, and his 50th birthday was last week, so it made sense to do it there and then."

Gracing the event were long-term friends of Affleck and Lopez, including Matt Damon and wife Luciana, director Kevin Smith and his wife Jennifer, Jason Mewes and his wife Jordan Monsanto, and Patrick Whitesell and his wife, Pia Miller.

Guests were seen donning all-white attire while at Affleck's 87-acre ranch. The setup for the wedding included an all-white piano, beautiful white tables and chairs on a riverbank dock, a platform for a fireworks display, and a marquee on the estate, among other expensive additions.

The couple's children were also involved in the festivity. Lopez's children include Emme and Maximilian, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony while Affleck's children are Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner.
