Ariel Winter looked drop-dead gorgeous this week, taking to Instagram for some low-key selfies outside her "Modern Family" trailer. The 22-year-old has been making headlines as the popular ABC sitcom comes to an end, with the topic being touched on by Ariel herself – the actress mentioned wrapping up filming in her caption.
Ariel might front media outlets on account of her weight loss and new boyfriend Luke Benward, but this star will forever be best-known for her role as Alex Dunphy on "Modern Family."

Ariel's selfies showed her looking happy and beautiful as she posed by the set's trailer. Ariel was bathed in natural sunlight, she didn't seem to be wearing much makeup, and she'd opted for a cute and colorful wardrobe that kept things casual.
Ariel wore a red top with woven fabrics and black piping, flaunting a little cleavage as she posed with a gray outer layer. This update wasn't about the fashion, though, with a sign behind Ariel showing her "Alex" name – the actress was clearly on-set.
Ariel squinted slightly in her third photo, but the vibe was sending out smiles. A caption mentioned the show wrapping up.
"Only 9 more production days left until we wrap filming Modern Family forever?," she said.

Ariel's post definitely got noticed by her fans. The star's followers were quick to take to the comments section – many mentioned "Modern Family" ending.
"Gonna miss Alex! ❤️?," one fan wrote.
"So sad to see it end but will watch reruns forever!! God Bless," another said.
Meanwhile, one user told Ariel to enjoy it while it lasts.
"Soak it in. 10 years from now you’ll miss this :-) always proud of ya! ?," they wrote.
The post also proved popular in no time, racking up over 18,000 in just ten minutes.
Ariel was still a child when she first started out as Alex Dunphy. The star has recently been reflecting on her time on the series, in particular, growing up on television.
"I do have to say it was a really awkward year for me because I also went through puberty that summer," Ariel said about getting braces.
"So it was, like, we had episodes with me in braces, and then over the summer once we wrapped, I had other things. But I still wasn't fully through puberty like Nolan, so I had things. It was awkward. I definitely think it's really difficult to grow up in front of those people who have an opinion on everything you do and who are allowed to say it at any point," she added.

Much like the "Friends" cast is known for staying in touch, it's been reported that similar will happen with the "Modern Family" stars.
A source reporting to Hollywood Life last year said that the series ending is "bittersweet" for Ariel but that she she "knows they will all stay in touch."
“It won’t be the same not filming on set all the time like they have been for so many years. Ariel has so many amazing memories from over the years and has some big things planned for her future, both personally and professionally," they said, adding:
"She knows that all good things must come to an end but can’t believe this is the end to such an amazing era that has consumed most of her life. It will definitely be a time she will cherish forever.”
