Gabrielle Union May Sue Simon Cowell for Smoking Near Her on 'America's Got Talent'

Gabrielle Union has had a tough couple of months. The drama started back in November 2019 when she was axed as a judge on the reality competition show, America's Got Talent. Its been reported that the reasoning for her firing was due to production staff telling her that her clothes & hair were "too black." Union also called her environment at work, "toxic." None of her co-workers, which include Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell and Julianne Hough came to her defense.

Sources says the Bring it On actress has settled her dispute with NBC network over her firing. But now, new reports say that Gabrielle Union allegedly wants to sue Simon Cowell for endangering her life. How? By passive smoking. An insider told The MailFor her, this is a big deal. She believes his smoking has put her life in danger. It can cause cancer and she doesn’t think she deserves to have been at risk when she was at work.

Union was notified that Cowell smokes while working. Gabrielle was always cross that Simon would smoke when the cameras weren’t running. added the insider. Her lawsuit is scheduled to be sent to the judge any moment now. The law may be on Gabrielle's side. California has very strict anti-smoking laws which ban employers from knowingly or intentionally permitting... the smoking of tobacco products in an enclosed place of employment. The 47 year-old has always shared her extensive healthy lifestyle, which includes intense workouts & clean eating.

She also recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Dwayne Wade. Is she pushing the limit by suing Simon or was her health & life really in danger while working on-set? It's become aware that Cowell does have an addiction to cigarettes; having smoked up to 80 in just one day! After taking a fall at his home in West London in 2017, the AGT judge decided to quit smoking but unfortunately that didn't last. He was spotted smoking one year later.

While being asked about his addiction, Simon replied, If I tried to cut out cigarettes completely, I would have a real problem: too boring. Fans are reacting to this dramatic news by becoming concerned for Gabrielle's Hollywood career if she actually sues Simon. One fan wrote , Good luck getting any work.
