It's the end of the road for Jenelle Evans with the "Teen Mom" franchise.

Fans were first introduced to Evans back in 2010 after she appeared on the second season of the MTV show "16 And Pregnant." She also starred in the franchise's spin-off for nine seasons until she got fired in 2019 after her husband, David Eason, killed the family dog.

The reality star won't be appearing on the next show of the franchise, "Teen Mom: The Next Chapter," which is a mash-up of "Teen Mom OG" and "Teen Mom 2."

According to reports, Evans won't be returning because the two parties couldn't come to a conclusion regarding the contract.

TMZreported that the star of MTV's "Teen Mom" won't be returning to the franchise because the network and Evans couldn't reach an agreement

According to her manager August Keen, MTV wanted to sign the star to an exclusive deal, but Keen claimed it might limit her other opportunities.

However, this doesn't mean that Evans is leaving reality shows for good. Her manager revealed that she "has a new dynamic series in development, (but is) keeping the concept under wraps for now."

She also shared that a major network will pick up her client's show. Evans, who boasts 4.8M followers on Instagram, also took to her social media to hint to fans about her upcoming series.

"Can't give details away, but you will find out soon!'

Evans' former co-star on the franchise, Leah Messer, previously clamored for Evans to be on the show.

"I think that I'm eager to see where she's at in her life, and whatever ultimately the executives decide is what they decide. I wish her the very best," Messer shared. She also hinted that she'd not maintained a friendship with Evans since she was fired three years ago.

She continued, "I haven't talked to Jenelle in a very long time. She was one of the original cast [members] of the show. And I knew her very well at that time. I don't know [her] currently. Honestly, I don't have a relationship with her."

In 2019, the network cut ties with Evans after her husband admitted to killing their family dog for allegedly biting their daughter, who was two years old.

"The dog was aggressive," Eason shared with People. "She might not be huge or whatever, but you know when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again."

Evans innocently danced to the song "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" in a TikTok video, and some fans were swift to talk about the change in her body, which she quickly shot down. As per InTouch, she said about the video, "Yeah, we didn't even go there about my ass," shooting down the rumors. "And I already had my boobs done, which everyone knows."

Jenelle Evans Used Drugs While Pregnant

The reality star confessed to using drugs while pregnant with her daughter in 2017. In an interview with Vince Russo's podcast "The Brand" in 2018, she admitted to testing positive for marijuana after the birth of her daughter.

"I'm not going to lie about that," she shared on the podcast via Page Six. "I tested positive for THC, and Ensley did not test positive. I did. So CPS [Child Protective Services] were like — I was in the hospital — they said, 'Did you smoke when you were pregnant?'

I said, 'I did within the past 30 days. I said I have really bad esophageal spasms, and I throw up every 5 minutes. I can't even eat.' And they said, 'Okay, some moms do that. We are not here to judge. We are writing down your information.'"
