Christie Brinkley, 66, Wows In Tiny Bikini Bottoms On The Beach

Christie Brinkley is more than defying her age. The legendary supermodel and "Dancing With The Stars" face is now 66 years old – that is, until you head over to her Instagram where new snaps are showing the blonde looking barely 50.

Christie updated her Instagram this weekend with a photo-heavy batch of images as she promoted Regent Cruises. The star has been fronting the cruise liners in a steady stream of paid promotions this year – it looks like the company picked a stellar ambassador.

Christie's photos today showed her in various locations – and in various wardrobes. An opening shot of Christie with outstretched arms aboard a boat was followed by a likewise joyous photo of the "Sports Illustrated" veteran on the beach – here, Christie was posing on a bicycle and wearing a loose wraparound layer to cover her swimwear.

The bikini snaps were there, though. All fans had to do was swipe.

Christie's photos continued with various European and beach locations, then showing the model on shores and wearing tiny and blue string bikini bottoms as she posed on a surfboard. Christie wore a tight and multicolor crop top to offset the bottoms, flaunting her toned and tan legs as she soaked up the sun. A super-cool photo also showed Christie underwater in her bikini bottoms.

A lengthy caption from Christie explained what Regent Cruises means to her, alongside revealing a prestigious nickname.

"As a lover of exploration and sailing, luxury to me means indulging in the simple pleasures of life, paired with the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. Carefree moments of leisure, expansive ocean views, and the cheerful sound of laughter from my loved ones have shaped some of my most valued memories," she began, adding:

"It gives me such great pride to serve as the Godmother for @RegentCruises’ newest luxury cruise ship."

Christie's fans were right on this update. While comments did come in regarding the mentioned cruise line, the bulk of responses were geared towards Christie herself.

"Wow U look amazing," one fan wrote.

"They should make a figurehead of you for the bowl," another said.

"Still one of the most beautiful women in the world!" was another comment.

Replies also seemed to come in from slightly older users, with one fan saying: "Thanks for representing us 60 somethings and showing the world how great it can be!"

Christie made headlines in the middle of January for taking to Instagram with a red hot bikini throwback dating back to 1977. Christie's message was one of body-positivity as she recalled the days when editing and retouching didn't exist, also confirming that the mauve two-piece had "caused a stir" back in the '70s.

"I’m so glad that today our industry appreciates all shapes and sizes so we can just focus on being healthy. Not cookie cutter. Still there is something in some young girls that often makes them feel they just don’t measure up. I was one of them," Christie wrote, adding that she'd worried about feeling "fat" at the time.

The post proved hugely popular, both for the killer throwback body and the inclusive, positive message.
