Pamela Anderson and new husband Jon Peters split up after the movie producer sent a text message ending the couple’s very short 12-day marriage.
According to reports, Anderson only spent five days with her new husband, before returning home to Canada for the remainder of the short marriage.
The text message read something along the lines of describing their “beautiful amazing love fest,” but “this whole marriage thing…has scared me.”
He continued, “It made me realize that at 74 I need a simple quiet life and not an international love affair. Therefore, I think the best thing we can do is that I’m going to go away for a couple of days and maybe you need to go back up to Canada we did it. The world knows we did it and I think now we need to go our own separate ways. I hope that you can forgive me,” this according to US Weekly, who broke the story of the text messages.
The outlet says ‘The A Star Is Born’ producer ended the text chain asking her to still be in one of his new movies, ‘Private Dancer.’ He ended it with, “I love you, Jon. I want to be in your life forever.”
The claim Anderson simply responded, “I forgive you” with a blowing kiss emoji.
During the days leading up to the couple’s wedding day in Malibu, CA it seems they were very much in love, with Peters telling THR, “Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much. There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but — for 35 years — I’ve only wanted Pamela.”
He continued, “She makes me wild — in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated.”
The nuptials was Pamela’s fifth marriage, but it has been reported the ‘Baywatch’ star and Peters never filed the proper legal paperwork to get married. So, there won’t be a lot of issues to undo the situation….legally that is. Interestingly, the now twice ex-couple actually dated 30 years earlier.
