Ashley Graham is preaching the good news of body positivity again.
The model, who has always been vocal about loving one's body, ramped up her take on the issue following the birth of her twin boys in January. Since then, Graham has ensured that her followers and fans know that her postpartum weight was going nowhere.
The Addition Elle lingerie designer has won many people over with her often honest and transparent takes on women's bodies. It does not look like that will change anytime soon.
Ashley Graham Is Big, Pretty, And Proud
From putting her entire naked body on display to wearing bikinis that show off her baby weight, Graham has kept herself on followers' minds. The 34-year-old did it again when she took to her Instagram Story to share a clip of herself singing and dancing in a room with a well-laid bed, a white ceiling fan, and a brown mirror.
The video kicked off with Graham placing her face in front of the camera and framing her mouth with her hands as she sang, "you don't have to be skinny to be pretty." She then bounced back and raised her hand to show the flabby parts before placing her hands on her breasts to push them up.
Next, Graham spun around to show her derrière by pulling the black bottoms tight around her bum to show the full black panties she had underneath. The mother-of-three ended the footage by walking toward the camera and pulling her bottoms down to reveal her not-so-flat stomach.
The stretch marks around her tummy are apparent and have previously caused a rift between Graham and an observer. As shared by The Blast, the showdown occurred after the "American Beauty Star" host dropped a series of pictures and clips on Instagram.
The social media dump included a short video of the body inclusion advice posing for a pregnancy photo shoot. In the clip, viewers saw the TV personality showing off her baby bump as her husband, and videographer Justin Ervin worked his magic behind the camera.
The other shots in the partially captioned "heart is full this fall" post were random moments from the model's life. Amongst the thousands of heartwarming messages in the comments was one from a troll, who had nothing but negativity. The commenter stated that even though she was pregnant before, she never got any stretch marks. The troll also implied that having that "deformity" could affect Graham's career.
Not one to say too much, the "America's Next Top Model" judge uploaded a screenshot of the hater's comment on her Instagram Story along with three eye-roll emojis and sarcastic words, "GOSH– HOPE I STILL HAVE A CAREER WITH MY STRETCH MARKS."
The brown-eyes author is the mother to Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin, Roman Ervin, and Malachi Ervin, whom she shares with her husband.
The Fashion Designer Has Accepted Her New Tummy
In April, The Blast reported that Graham fully embraced her new postpartum body with two risqué pictures she posted on Instagram. In the images, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl was wearing nothing but black panties.
The brunette's hair is pulled away from her face in a bun accentuating her facial features. The plus-sized queen's look is uplifted with a gold pendant around her neck and matching gold earrings and rings on her fingers.
For the pose itself, Graham stood in front of a bathroom mirror with one arm barely covering her cleavage while the other held her phone. To further pay homage to her mom-bod, the Nebraska native shared a close-up view of her stomach, which was filled with several cellulite trophies from childbirth. Although the body-positive snaps have since been deleted, they were captioned:
"Hi, new tummy. We've been through a lot. Thank you. #3monthspostpartum"
Thousands of celebrities and fans flooded its comment section with positive responses, praising the mom-of-three for not shying away from the "unpleasurable" side of her pregnancy journey. Former plus-sized model Jada Sezer, Danish supermodel Helena Christensen, and actress Freida Pinto were some celebs who raved about Graham's body in the comments.
While Sezer wrote, "Always so refreshing to see women's bodies raw, unfiltered, and in all its glory," Christensen stated that it was "amazing" that Graham had "created, carried and pushed lives" out of her body.
