“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Alexis Bellino’s ex-husband Jim is back in court battling it out over comments made by Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Jim is demanding his lawsuit against comedian Heather McDonald not be dismissed.

Jim originally filed a $1 million lawsuit against Shannon and Tamra accusing them of defaming him on Heather McDonald’s podcast. On the show they talked about his divorce and trampoline business. Judge said, Why is he wanting spousal support? I have a theory. Everything’s in her name. He’s going [to go] to jail. Yeah, he’s a shady mothafu--a!”

He claims their comments ruined his reputation and cost him business deals. Shannon and Tamra denied all allegations of wrongdoing.

Shannon successfully had all claims against her dismissed and was awarded $137,340 in attorney fees from Jim.

Jim filed a second lawsuit against Heather McDonald accusing her defamation over the same podcast. Heather moved to dismiss the lawsuit claiming she never defamed Jim with her comments.

In newly filed documents, Jim is firing back Heather’s attempt to have his case dismissed. He argues, “The Court should not proceed to the merits of the McDonald Anti-SLAPP Motion, for the foregoing procedural reasons and should either deny it without prejudice or continue it until after the Bellino and Judge appeals have been completed. Should the Court proceed to the merits of the motion, however, it still should be denied because McDonald cannot meet her burden of demonstrating that the statements at issue concern a matter of public interest.”

He claims his business has damaged greatly, “As a result of the defamatory statements at issue in this case, they have been unable to originate several new loans and unable to obtain several new investments, as some third partiesare no longer willing to do business with them as a result of damage to my reputation.”

Jim says Heather’s comment were not statements of facts and believes she should be held liable.

The legal battle recently got nasty with Shannon slapping Jim with a lien over the $137k owed in attorney fees.
