There was a huge buzz on social media that mega popstar, Pitbull would be a ‘top of the list’ guest at the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show, but he wasn’t.
And the rapper did have a few things to say just hours before the halftime show that left fans confused.
Pitbull aka “Mr. 305” aka “Mr. Worldwide” aka “Lil Chico”, is known to put electrifying performances and would have been a perfect addition to the show. And he was said to be making an appearance in some way or another.

Weeks before the show, Lopez and Shakira were thankful for being given the opportunity, by show coordinator Jay-Z, to be representatives of not only pop music, but the Latin culture as a whole.
To celebrate culture, to showcase it in a country where Latinos have also struggled a lot,” Shakira told Billboard. “I feel really humbled and with a great responsibility in my hands to represent the Latino community.”
Lopez mentioned after the performance, “I was happy to stand up there with Shakira – two Latin women, two women, two working moms – who did one of the best Super Bowls of all time.”

But, Pitbull’s fans weren’t shy about wanted to see him have in on the performance. In fact, a rally formed on a Change.org petition which was initiated by the singer’s fans to get him added to the show’s bill.
Plus, it had been rumored that Pitbull himself was pushing to be part of the halftime show.
When asked about the halftime show, MSN reported that Pitbull stated, “Am I in the halftime show? I’m involved in a lot of things that have to do with the Super Bowl. I’ll leave it at that. I plead the fifth that this question might incriminate me.”

Well, after the Super Bowl, there was no sign of Pitbull. But, it seemed like a lot of fans, especially those from the Miami area, weren't happy about Mr. Worldwide not making an appearance. And some fans even began to show their dissatisfaction by grumbling via Twitter.
Tweets mentioned, “You mean to tell me the super bowl was in Miami, and Jlo and Shakira performed, and neither of them brought out Mr. 305 Pitbull” and another said, “This is THE BIGGEST SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW SNUB IN HISTORY. HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE PITBULL AS A GUEST IN MIAMI ?!?!”

Pitbull brought up talks about the halftime show the day before the event, telling Sirius XM hosts DJ Laz and Crisco Kidd, “I can tell you this, I’m gonna be doing a whole lot of things at the Super Bowl. That’s all I can tell you. I’m at the Tailgate party, you got some commercials, one of the commercials happens to be, you know, before whatever show that is. . . I’m definitely excited to see Jennifer and Shakira.'”
We’ll there were no signs of Pitbull at all at this year’s Super Bowl, but we’ll have to see if the rapper makes any statements about being completely absent from the event. But, fans are hoping that Mr. 305 will make a Super Bowl halftime appearance in the future.
