Kylie Cosmetics founder Kylie Jenner recently responded to a TikToker who made an unappreciated comment about her lips. The 25-year-old previously revealed that she had work done on her lips after continuous attention concerning the apparent change.
Earlier this month, Jenner exchanged words with a makeup guru who accused her of “gaslighting” her fans after she posted herself in a lab coat. The reality star responded to his accusatory comments by revealing that the photo wasn’t taken in a lab and accused him of spreading false information.
Jenner’s most recent social media spat occurred on TikTok after she posted a video of her and Stassie Karanikolaou. A TikTok user took to the comments to point out her lips, and Jenner simply said that it was a result of the filter but asked them to “go off.”

Jenner clapped backed at a follower who commented on her lips. The business guru previously shared a TikTok video of her and Karanikolaou, her best friend, where the duo had on matching black tops and noticeably larger lips.
The video’s audio was set to “Favorite” by Ciara, and the best friends struck a prom-style pose. In the comment section of the video, a follower seemed to have a problem with the video or at least Jenner’s lips in the video.
The TikTok user commented, “The lips, please,” and the 25-year-old responded by pointing out that the filter was responsible for the look. Jenner wrote, “It’s the filter but go off” as per UsWeekly. Several other TikTok users trooped to the comment section to share their reactions to the situation, some supporting the businesswoman while others called her out.
A Jenner fan wrote, “‘It’s the filter but go off’ I’d cry myself to sleep after that.” Another follower defended the initial comment by pointing out that there was little difference without the filter. They wrote, “It’s the filter but go off’ like they don’t look the exact same without the filter too.”

Prior to the recent incident, Jenner was called out by Kevin James Bennett, a makeup artist, for not wearing the appropriate safety outfit in her Kylie Cosmetics lab. Jenner previously posted a picture of herself in a lab coat in her cosmetics lab. Bennett seemed to take offense to the attire and claimed that the 25-year-old was ‘gaslighting’ fans.
On August 5, the makeup artist took to Instagram to state his grievances, writing, “I know the Kardashian/Jenner stans are going to come for my throat because I’m calling out their cosmetic queen…but WTF @kyliejenner.”
Bennett continued, “I’m a cosmetic developer and work with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) as part of my job. … I’ve NEVER been allowed into the lab or onto the manufacturing floor without a hair net, shoe covers, mask…and disposable GLOVES.”
He added that Jenner was gaslighting her followers into “thinking she is creating cosmetics.” The makeup artist went on to ask for the “ignorant manufacturer” in charge of the photo-op in order for him to stop his clients from working with them in the future. The angry post was concluded with “#ShameOnYou.”

In his post to the Kylie Cosmetics founder, Bennett tagged the 25-year-old several times, so it is not surprising that she responded in the comments. Jenner’s Instagram account replied to the makeup artist’s accusations and revealed that the photos were not taken in a manufacturing facility.
She wrote, “Kevin – this picture is not taken in a manufacturing facility. I would never bypass sanitary protocols, and neither would any other celeb or beauty brand owner. That’s completely unacceptable, I agree.”
The reality star explained that the area in the photos was made for her to cook up her samples for fun and create content, and it was not used for mass manufacturing. Jenner concluded, “No one is putting customers at risk ! Shame on you, Kevin, for spreading false information !!!!”
Bennett did not relent on his verbal assault and asked the 25-year-old several questions about how long she had spent in the facility and alleged that she lied to him. Jenner simply asked the makeup artist if he was in the area at the time and then claimed she would have to rename one of her many greyhounds, who was apparently Bennett’s namesake.
Kylie Jenner Just Turned 25
Away from her social media drama, Jenner turned 25 on August 10 and celebrated the event with a birthday bash that had her family and friends in attendance. She posted pictures of the event, including her get-up for the day with the caption, “Twenty fine.”
The post’s comment section had several messages from her family members wishing her a happy birthday and celebrating the young billionaire. Kim Kardashian wrote, “I LOVE YOU,” while Khloé Kardashian commented, “Major coming.” Kendall posted a picture of a camera crediting herself for the impressive pictures.
Prior to Jenner’s 25th birthday, the reality star and her boyfriend, Travis Scott, were together in London while the artist headlined the O2 arena concert on August 6. The sold-out show is the 31-year-old’s first performance since the Astroworld fiasco that took place in November 2021.
