Former MTV star, Stephen Colletti, has definitely had some time to reflect on his reality TV past.

Colletti, now 36, rose to fame as a teen on the landmark MTV reality TV series "Laguna Beach" nearly 20 years ago as the series' golden boy, who had his eye on both of the series' most popular girlies, Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari.

As it often happens the two gals clashed on and off-screen partially due to the love triangle, and the duo's distaste for one another became a well-known celeb feud in pop culture throughout the ages.

In the decades since Conrad and Cavallari made their impact on reality TV on both "Laguna Beach" and its spin-off, "The Hills," Cavallari has gained a bit of perspective on spending her teens and twenties in the spotlight.

She and Colletti have teamed up together to share some of that perspective and, of course, spill some behind-the-scenes tea about their "Laguna Beach" days in a new podcast called "Back To The Beach."

Cavallari shared some adulthood insight on her girlhood spat with Conrad during an episode.

According to a report from The Blast, Cavallari shared to Colletti, "I will say the fact that Lauren Conrad and I went after each other was so messed up, when I love you, but the person we should be going after is you."

Their Nostalgia-Fueled Podcast Has Led To... Lip Locking Revelations?

"Back To The Beach" has inspired some juicy revelations!

The podcast isn't the only platform where the former "Laguna Beach" stars have dished about their relationship in the past! In fact, neither Colletti or Cavallari have been particularly tight-lipped about discussing their past relationship or sharing their current thoughts about each other's impact on both of their lives.

According to Us Weekly, Colletti revealed he's always been down for a catch-up chat with Cavallari.

"We always just check in and say hello," he shared to the publication.

It was later revealed the duo have done a lot more than check in with one another in recent years!

The former couple spilled a scalding amount of tea when they chose to dive all in and share the details pertaining to... a semi-recent lip-locking story?!

"We may or may not have kissed," Cavallari revealed, referencing a reunion the duo shared two years ago which was also preserved with a sweet photo on Instagram. Although she did have a caveat for her story. She also alluded to the memory being a hazy one, when she added she "can't remember" exactly what happened, per Us Weekly.

Stephen Colletti Rejects His Bad Boy Rep On Reality TV

One element of their relationship that will perhaps never slip Colletti's mind, has to do with the way in which he had been portrayed on the screen.

His so-called bad boy reputation as a cheating boyfriend on the series was all due to reality TV editing, which, as reality TV devotees know very well, can have a huge impact on a celebrity's public perception.

"I had a huge problem with [his curated cheating reputation], because look, obviously they created this show around this love triangle, and there's moments where you and I were broken up," he told Cavallari via Page Six.

He also reassured his ex-girlfriend there was never a time where he lived up to his edited reputation as a cheater.

"And [producers] had learned about Lauren and I hooking up and being very good friends and, you know, obviously stuff happened at certain times, but at no point ever, whenever we were together, would I step out on you in that way."

Cavallari revealed more details about the producers' manipulation of her ex-boyfriend's image.

"They decided 'OK, this is how we're going to make Stephen look and I don't care what's really going on in his life. We're going to continue to hammer that home and keep going back to that storyline."

Colletti also revealed the whole experience made his "blood boil."

Despite a rocky relationship with their reality TV pasts for various reasons, Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti's relationship has clearly been able to withstand any sort of producer manipulation or hard feelings about their pasts.

New episodes of "Back To The Beach" are available weekly.
