Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Her Relationship With Caitlyn Amid Kardashian Feud

Given that Caitlyn Jenner is no longer appearing on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the only time fans hear about the former athlete’s relationship with her children is either through online gossip or social media. But it’s been a moment since Kylie Jenner has talked about the relationship dynamic with her father.

It was just two months ago when the Kardashian-Jenner family was slammed by thousands of fans, who were bothered by the fact that Caitlyn received no support from her loved ones while appearing on the UK game show “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”

It’s commonly known that when a celebrity gets booted from the popular British reality show, they are usually greeted by family and friends as they leave the jungle camp. But when Caitlyn made her exit, there was nobody waiting to hold her with open arms, leaving UK viewers outraged and feeling sad for the 70-year-old.

Now, in a new cover interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Kylie had shed light on her bond with Caitlyn, insisting that she’s always been close with her father, before adding that the longest time she hadn’t spoken to her dad was when she was taking part in “I’m A Celeb”

“My dad was the best growing up, never missed a sports game. Took us to school every day, and our school was, like, 45 minutes from our house,” Kylie told the magazine.

The cosmetics mogul added that it’s rare for her not to speak to Caitlyn on a regular basis, simply because Kylie truly appreciates all the things her father has done for her.

And though there still appears to be friction between Caitlyn’s relationship with some of the Kardashians, Kylie isn’t affected by it at all.

When asked what’s the longest she’s gone without talking to Caitlyn, she said: “Three or four weeks when she did that show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! I watched clips online. It was hard to be out of touch for that long, but I feel like it was harder for her because she couldn’t see us.”

In 2017, following the release of Caitlyn’s controversial memoir, “The Secrets of My Life,” the likes of Kim and Khloe Kardashian were furious that their stepfather had used his publication to tarnish his marriage with Kris while seemingly portraying the momager as a villain to the public.

In fact, it was just in November when Caitlyn revealed that she hadn’t spoken to Khloe in a very long time, claiming that after her transition to becoming a woman, it almost seemed as if the reality star took issue with her new life.

And to this day, Caitlyn says she’s still trying to figure out the reason why Khloe no longer reaches out to her.

At the time of Caitlyn’s feud with the Kardashians, a source had revealed: “Kylie has really made an effort not to take sides and to be supportive of Caitlyn. She really wants to have a relationship with her dad, but Caitlyn has hurt Kris tremendously and it’s made it very difficult.”

And though Kylie didn’t agree with some of the things Caitlyn had mentioned in her book, the 22-year-old saw no reason to neglect her dad over a family dispute. After all, she’s always been close to her dad, and that wasn’t going to change by any means.

“With everyone in the family on Kris’s side, it’s hard on Kylie. She tries to keep it separate and doesn’t want to discuss it with the rest of the family,” the insider concluded.
