Adrienne Bailon-Houghton is entirely in love with her newborn son, Ever James!
You may recall that the brilliant TV personality welcomed the infant earlier this month via surrogate with her husband of almost six years, Israel Houghton. Having Ever could not have been a more joyful blessing and the adoring mother recently tributed him on Instagram in the sweetest way imaginable.
Adrienne Bailon Is Obsessed With New Tattoo Honoring Son, Ever
Adrienne initially shared a snap of her newly tattooed hand, showing she had her child’s name inked below her ring-adorned pinky. Her face was not shown in the update, but she appeared to be buttoning up her shirt, putting the tattooed finger on full display.
The Latina singer then gushed about the new ink, crediting the artist on the post. She wrote, "@mnsantanatattoo – I am so in love with @everjames tattoo." She made a second post about her son, featuring herself and the little one’s sweater-covered left hand. The update obscured her son’s face, same as hers, just like the first post.
Adrienne donned a white button-up shirt with a matching camisole beneath. She could also be seen cuddling Ever while a blanket wrapped him. Her third and final post was a shot of a Styrofoam cup with “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Houghton” printed on it, alongside wordings indicating that the container was recyclable.
Additionally, she had “Ever’s Mami” penned by the cup’s side, declaring to the world that she was indeed and proudly a momma.
The “All You’ve Got” Actress Unveils Birth Of First Child With Husband On Instagram
Not long ago, Adrienne and her beloved spouse Israel announced the birth of their first child together via an affectionate joint Instagram post showing the couple embracing the newborn. As The Blast reported, “The Cheetah Girls” alum could be seen cuddling Ever to her bosom while her partner hugged them from behind and gazed at his baby.
The adorable post’s caption began, "Ever James [infinity sign] For this child we have prayed. Just to hear our baby cry. Skin to skin and face to face, Heart to heart and eye to eye." It continued with an announcement of the child’s birth, alongside the doting parents expressing how much love they felt.
They also mentioned the challenging journey they went through birthing a baby stating that God was undoubtedly “true to His word and promises” as the married pair’s prayers were answered, bringing about Ever’s birth. Adrienne and Israel further revealed that they had been “sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last nine months,” adding that the newborn was worth every difficulty they experienced. In their words:
"He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything. All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude."
They then ended the caption, stating, “Grateful to God, to our angel surrogate, and to all of our friends and family who have stood with us for over 5 years on this journey. He’s here, and we have never been happier to lose sleep!” The update got loving reactions in no time, with thousands sending love and support, including Adrienne’s good buddy Khloe Kardashian who wrote that her pal would be the “most incredible mommy.”
Although the 38-year-old NYC-born was beyond elated about her child’s birth, she struggled with fertility and has always been open about her desire to have her own children. In a past episode of “The Real,” she opened up about the setbacks and disappointments she got even after having done multiple cycles of IVF. Nevertheless, she remained positive and believed she would eventually be a mother.
Upon the birth of Ever, The Blast reported that Adrienne’s colleagues and co-hosts of “The Real” could not contain their excitement as they gushed about the new mom and her baby on social media. The show may have ended then, but the women, Jeannie Mai, Loni Love, Tamera Mowry, and Garcelle Beauvais, alongside the “That’s So Raven” star remained close friends and maintained their strong connection.
Mai was super grateful to God for spending quality time making Ever for his parents. She also appreciated Him for “every second of perfection,” noting that the baby’s adorable smile was about to light up their world. The other co-hosts, as expected, similarly expressed their happiness, shedding tears of joy for their friend, the new momma!
