Kelly Osbourne Talks Pregnancy Struggle That Made Her Leave Pool Party

Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the legendary Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, may be on cloud nine about being pregnant with her first child, but she still faces the much-disliked pregnancy struggles. In a recent rant on her Instagram Story, she bared her soul regarding her challenges with conception, revealing a recent decision she made due to her condition.

Kelly sadly had to skip a pool party recently to wear compression socks given her ankle size, which was caused by her pregnancy. She explained in the post, featuring a picture of her legs in a pair of pink and white colored socks. In addition, her legs were outstretched on what looked like a blanket. In her words:

"Nothing feels more like being pregnant then having to leave the pool party and go put compression socks on because you suddenly have ankles bigger then [sic] tree trunks!!!"

"The Osbournes" star's lamenting comes after she shared a rare photo of her baby bump, which PEOPLE reported, noting that that was her first reveal since she got pregnant. She teased fans with a glimpse via a previous Instagram Story post showing her capturing her reflection in a window while hanging out by the poolside. Her bump could also be seen in the picture.

Kelly, who shares her unborn child with her boyfriend and Slipknot DJ, Sid Wilson, announced her pregnancy in May with a statement that conveyed how excited she felt. She said, "I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma."

The former "Fashion Police" presenter, who recently became an aunt to her brother Jack Osbourne's newborn baby, Maple, was beyond delighted about her conception as she described her feeling as ecstatic. 

As for her relationship with the father of her child, they had reportedly known each other since 1999, when they met during Slipknot's tour with Ozzfest, the musical festival created by her parents, Ozzy and Sharon. Kelly and Wilson did not start as romantic partners but eventually got together, remaining friends since their first meeting, and are "very happy" as a couple, per a source. 

She seemed not to have been the only one in the Osbourne clan excited about her pregnancy, as her father once gushed about it during an appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego. Ozzy called her "big" and "beautiful," revealing that she was six months pregnant at the time. He also disclosed the first thing he planned to gift his grandson after birth; a microphone.   

The Blast noted that Kelly shared a new applaudable achievement with a picture on Instagram from the Twelve Steps app tracker, showing she had been sober for a year! Fans may be aware that she was also pregnant amid her sobriety journey, and as her caption implied, she never believed she would be "sober, happy and about to be a mom."

The gorgeous fashion designer added that anyone who made an effort would always reap eventually. She then concluded with appreciation towards those who supported her through the journey.

Speaking of Kelly's sobriety journey, she once opened up about her experience over the years, including an unfortunate relapse after being sober for nearly four years. During an appearance on the "Red Table Talk," she recalled being in a dark place due to her relapse, but with the help of her brother and partner, she was able to go through recovery successfully.

Before her one-year sobriety journey announcement, The Blast reported that Kelly shared the exciting news of her pregnancy on Instagram using a shot of her unborn baby's sonogram and her beaming face. At the time, she returned to social media after a two-month break, shocking the world with the announcement of her first conception. 

In addition to a snap of the English actress' child's sonogram and her ecstatic face, she added one more picture of herself lounging by the poolside and staring affectionately at the sonogram. The news overjoyed fans as they flooded her with congratulatory remarks, including her close friend Ross Matthews, her mom Sharon, and her brother, Jack, who were over the moon about the news.
