Is JoJo Siwa's Drastic Hair Change A Sign Of Breakup?!

JoJo Siwa has switched up her hair-do, and you know what that means.

In case you DON’T know what a drastic hair change up means, it means that there’s been a breakup and/or reinvention.

In May, Siwa reconciled with her first-ever girlfriend, Kylie Prew.

They met on a cruise ship in 2019 and began dating long distance. Jojo introduced Kylie during her coming out in January 2021.

On February 8, she wrote, “After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend... and Since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been! She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more everyday!❤️”

The young couple parted ways last October due to long distance.

In April, Jojo shared a video of herself getting a MAJOR hair makeover. She cut off her iconic ponytail and traded it in for a short, choppy bob.

Obviously, this marked a new “era” of Siwa, and the following month she got back together with Prew.

The couple confirmed their reconciliation on social media in multiple Disneyland posts.

However, Prew has disappeared from Siwa’s social media posts, and the triple threat debuted yet ANOTHER drastic hairdo.

On Wednesday, August 17, she shared a mirror selfie in front of her closet with long, curly hair.

She captioned the pic, “Well well wellll would you look at who is back😋👀.”

Obviously, this major appearance change shocked her fans.

“OMG what?” one fan wrote.

“WTFF,” and “OH MY GOSH,” others wrote.

One person noted, “Yeah your hair can’t grow that quick.”

That same day she shared to reels, one with her short hair and one with her long, curly hair.

It looks like the 19-year-old is doing the most to distract herself and all signs point at a breakup.

During an Instagram livestream, Prew confirmed the breakup news.

“I’m obviously aware of everything that’s happening on TikTok right now, and all the drama and all the tea,” she started off. “I don’t like drama and it makes me really, really anxious and so I don’t want to talk about it for a while, but, um, someone asked me just now if I was single [and] I am.”

She continued to explain, “I’ve been single for almost two months and it’s OK. It’s not deep, I promise. Everything’s fine. Not everything has to be messy and gross because it’s not, and I just want to clear the air.”

Prew reassured fans “we’re both safe and happy and healthy and that’s all that matters. And there doesn’t need to be drama, because that gives everyone unwanted anxiety.”

Siwa’s ex even admitted that she has a TikTok crush.

“She’s one of the thirty people I follow. But it’s not weird like that,” Prew said.

The comments section was popping off.

“Ok but this break up seems more hectic than the last one so obviously something happened because I’ve never seen so much drama lol,” a fan wrote.

“SO MUCH DRAMA,” another person echoed.

Siwa has yet to speak about the breakup.
