Twitter Reacts as Megan Thee Stallion and G-Eazy Make It Instagram Official

Super Bowl was an excuse for many celebrities to have fun and relax as fans prepared for the Kansas City Chiefs took on the San Francisco 49ers. The weekend was time for some like Jay-Z and Beyonce to spend so much needed family time. But for others, it is hookup central as many young and single celebrities partake in some non-commital fun. One such hookup happened between G-Eazy and Megan Thee Stallion as they flaunted their unexpected relationship on Instagram.

The unexpected couple kept flaunting their relationship over social media all Super Bowl weekend through a series of posts. The pair was rumored to be an item as fans spotted them getting up close and personal in a club in Miami over the weekend as they partook in Super Bowl festivities. On Sunday, Megan posted a video on Instagram of her and G-Eazy cuddling up in a bed. G-Eazy constantly planted kisses on her as she continued to film.

G-Eazy could not help but flaunt his rumored boo on Instagram. He posted a photo of Megan posing on a staircase in a mansion over Super Bowl weekend. G-Eazy showed his affection by captioning the photo with a series of blue hearts.

The rumored couple has neither confirmed nor denied whether they are in an actual relationship or just a weekend fling. But the hookup shocked many as there were no rumors or evidence of a relationship before Super Bowl weekend.

As people guessed whether the rappers were a real couple or not, social media had a field day as Twitter users gave their take on the mismatched couple.

Twitter user Taz commented, "G Eazy been on game." He posted a photo of G-Eazy with his prom date, who was black.

Others on the platform spoke on the hookup in relation to Black History Month.

Twitter user villaintae commented, "tell me i did not just see g eazy suck miss megan thee stallion's face,, on day 3 of black history month."

Some on Twitter took the relationship looked down on the possible relationship as they brought social dynamics into the equation.

Tobincii commented, "Black women defending Megan Thee Stallion dating G Eazy but have they stopped to consider how EAZY it is for the white man to lock up our fellow black G’s? Smh"

Chelseadahlia seemed appalled by writing on Twitter, "me to megan the stallion now that she’s allegedly dating g easy.. g eazy.. gerald.. i- whatever his name is. why meg"

Not everyone seemed happy with the rumored couple as G-Eazay's rumored girlfriend Yasmin Wijnaldum appeared to throw some shade at the pair. She was seen in an Instagram video getting ready while listening to producer Hitmaka's song "Thot Box."

While Wijnaldum appeared to take their relationship seriously, G-Eazy appeared to move onto Megan.

Despite the various reactions, G-Eazy ad Megan Thee Stallion seemed to be loving their moment together. For now, only time will tell if the duo will be Hip Hop's next power couple of just a weekend fling on social media.
