Imagine getting the chance to go to the Super Bowl. You probably paid a lot for that ticket, possibly as much as $7,000. Everything's been building up to this.
Now imagine that you just basically fell asleep during the big game. As an extra bonus, someone videotaped you having a nap amid thousands of fans. That happened to one guy at the Super Bowl this year.

This year, the much-televised event was held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The game was between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs were going in to the game without posting a Super Bowl win in 50 years. So the excitement was high, or so we thought.
Karisa Maxwell, who writes for Sporting News, caught the gentleman in the act. It happened during the first quarter - which can often be the most laid-back quarter, but still.
"Somehow, this man is sleeping through the #SuperBowl. We’re still only in the first quarter," Maxwell wrote.
Maxwell continued to tweet about it after the guy woke up.
"He just woke up ...
oh no, should I tell him?
Oh no... His friend is currently showing him the video. The whole section knows.
WHAT DO I DO?!"

Later on, Maxwell posted again to keep people in the loop, writing:
"So, I realize everyone was expecting an update on the sleeping man.
Following halftime, I hesitantly walked up to introduce myself and asked him for an interview to find out more.
He was clearly annoyed and said 'absolutely not.'
I would say he needs to relax, but .."

People were impressed with the way he could just nod off like that, without additional supports, in the middle of the Super Bowl.
"No sleep mask. No ear plugs. No weighted blanket. Pure talent. #Respect," wrote @Valeri3Michaels.
Seriously, how do you do that? First off, it's gotta be loud in there. Second, he's sitting in a hard plastic chair. That can't have been comfortable, but apparently it was comfortable enough for him to take an honest to goodness nap.
The guy wasn't faking it, either - he was out.
People tweeted reasons why the man could have been taking a snooze during one of the biggest games of the year.
"My man just wanted some time away from his kids," said @deluggz247.
"You gotta be rich to spend $1500 plus on a super bowl ticket just to sleep at the game," said one person, but someone else had another reason to take a power nap.
"Probably paid $0 for his ticket," said @SaveUSA1776.
Maybe, but not likely.
