'Million Dollar Listing' Agent Matt Altman's Wife Johanna Arrested For Domestic Violence

Despite a very happy looking relationship while celebrating their anniversary, "Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles" agent Matt Altman's wife Johanna was arrested on a felony charge of domestic violence earlier this month.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the arrest to People. Johanna, 40, was booked into Van Nuys, California jail at 9:30 p.m. on August 4, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department booking sheet, and was released the following morning at 4:30 a.m. on a $50,000 bond.

When asked about the incident, Matt, 44, told Page Six, "The loss of my wife's father due to COVID-19 has been absolutely devastating to her and our entire family. We have all been struggling with this loss and have been going through a tough time." He continued, "We have never been more in love and connected from this tragedy. We ask everyone to respect our privacy."

Shortly after the news of the arrest broke on Tuesday, Johanna posted a photo of the couple on her Instagram page captioned, "Such a beautiful anniversary weekend. 5 years and only getting stronger. Ups and downs ain't gonna stop anything. Love you so much @themattaltman." Comments have been turned off for the post.

Just a few days prior, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Matt posted a wedding photo of the two on his Instagram page captioned, "Happy 5th anniversary @johanna_altman couldn't imagine sharing life with anyone else. 5 years, 4 house moves, 3 incredible kids, 2 people sharing 1 heart. Love you xo #anniversary." Comments for his post were also turned off.

Neither Matt nor Johanna have posted anything about the arrest or incident that led to the arrest.

On August 8, just four days after the arrest, Matt posted a photo of the couple with their three children, twins London and Ashton, 4, and Hudson Isaac, 22 months, in a pool captioned, "Everyone's smiling in same pic...anyone with 3 or more kids knows this isn't easy." Comments were also turned off for this post. He also posted a similar video with no sound days later captioned, "Had such a fun anniversary weekend with the family at the place we got married Terranea." Comments are also not permitted on this post.

Matt, along with his brother Josh, own and operate the high-end real estate company The Altman Brothers Team in Los Angeles, California.
