Not only did the movie bring them into each other’s lives, but the experience of working together only made their connection stronger.
“I’m really grateful that this movie has brought him into my life that way,” she said. "When you make things with people, it's a very sacred space, and when you're compatible with somebody creatively, it often opens up other channels, because you're kind of sharing all of yourself."
Kravtiz admitted she made a conscious decision to cast Tatum in her new film.
Typically, the actor lands roles that are “the guy next door” or the romantic/love interest.
Kravitz wanted “someone who hadn't played a dark character before, because I think that's exciting to watch someone who's mostly played boy next door, good guy, love interest, all of that."

She continued to dote on her boyfriend.
"I felt, even from afar, before I knew him, that he was a feminist and that he wasn't afraid of exploring that darkness, because he knows he's not that," Kravitz admitted.
She said this is what drew her to him.
Tatum and Kravitz got together following her divorce from Karl Glusman. Last August, the actress finalized her divorce from Glusman after two years of marriage.
