Ray J & Princess Love Have Split

There's drama in the city of angels. Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood star, Princess Love, revealed on social media, that she and her husband, Ray J, are not together right now. This may not come as a surprise for fans of the couple, being that their relationship started from Princess cheating on her ex-boyfriend, Floyd Mayweather, back in 2013. She eventually left the successful boxer, to commit to the RnB singer. Quickly after, they began filming the VH1 reality show, Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood.

Fans grew in love with Princess and Ray J; watching them fall in love on reality TV. After dating for less than three years, they tied the knot in 2016. But, it seems that ever since they walked down the aisle, they've had problems. Drama brewed in November 2019, when Princess shared on social media that her husband left her and their daughter, Melody, stranded in Las Vegas with no way of getting home. Not only that, but she was also weeks away from giving birth to their second child.

Princess Love threatened to divorce Ray J. But, the couple worked things out before celebrating their son-to-be with a baby shower. Epik Norwood was born on December 30th. And now, one month later, Princess and Ray J have decided to take a step back from their marriage. On January 30th, during a Q&A session with her fans on Instgram. Someone asked if she was still with her husband. Although Ray posted a video hanging out with his family just six days ago...

Princess responded, Not right now…..Right now we are just focused on the kids. Despite these two not seeing eye to eye right now, from the sounds of a recent interview done by Ray J, these two may have hope. While celebrating his 39th birthday on January 23rd, he told Hollywood Life that he's going to step it up saying, Now that my wife had the baby and it’s done and that process is over, we’ve got to focus on parenting. But then we’ve got to start turning it back to us again.

He added, And I’ve got to make sure she’s loved and she’s treated in that way. So I mean, I definitely got to step it up. So, their love will hopefully live on. This isn't the first celebrity couple to break up and get back together numerous times. With two beautiful children, more than four years under their belt, and yes, a contract with Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood we can all be pretty sure we'll see the love story between Ray J and Princess Love pan out.
