'Only the Young': Taylor Swift's New Song Which Has Left Fans Divided

Taylor Swift recently launched her Miss Americana documentary, which tries to give a glimpse into her life over the past couple of years. More than 1,000 of the star’s loyal followers have seen the documentary which is available on Netflix already. Swift is a known guru when it comes to advertising and PR, and she did not leave out her expertise while dropping the movie.

The documentary that has since sparked Taylor’s engagement rumors comes along with a new song, ‘Only the Young.’

According to the artist, she came up with the track after witnessing the election period and its effects. Speaking to Variety, she talked of the efforts that young people were putting to win the seats they ran, and how hard it was to see them lose and their hopes shattered.

She felt that the young populations experience the most when it comes to the effects of violence. They are at a stage where they are trying to find a way to pay their bills and start a life amidst the unpredictable climate and the fears of war.

Swift makes use of her art for the right course and fans have since come up with different opinions. Some believe that the tune is juvenile, while others regard it as catchy and seem to love it. One of the fans noted that Taylor uses her talent as power, and she is the present time’s artist.

Another noted how Taylor’s tracks have melancholic and magical vibes, and the fan confesses to loving it. A disappointed fan termed the lyrics as ‘sucking,’ although the song is catchy.

While the star’s tell-all documentary seems to be receiving a warm welcome by fans, some of them may have watched her quite close and are now spreading a rumor about Swift’s engagement. She has been in a highly ‘private’ relationship with her actor-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

In one of the scenes in her documentary, she is chatting to the cam while seated on the floor, and her left hand’s ring finger appears to have a diamond ring. The duo has been dating since 2016.
